According to a review of literatures, silicone-induced lymphadenopathy occurs in association with rupture or silicone leakage. It has been reported to cause inflammation, neuropathy or systemic disorder. It should therefore be detected both correctly and promptly. The author experienced a rare case of a 38-year-old woman presenting with axillary silicone lymphadenopathy due to rupture of a silicone gel-filled breast implant. The patient received primary augmentation mammaplasty using a breast implant at other hospital; the current case highlights the importance of an ultrasoundassisted diagnosis of silicone lymphadenopathy before reoperation in a patient with rupture.

Introduction: Scald injuries are the most common type of thermal injury in the paediatric population [1]. Despite domestic accidental scalds being so common, there is limited awareness of the frequency and severity of these injuries. Awareness of trends in paediatric scalds including age, mechanism of injury and first aid would help guide future allocations of funding for burns prevention and first aid treatment in the paediatric cohort.

Introduction: Nipple-Sparing Mastectomy (NSM) is a consolidated technique that has been used for years with good aesthetic results. Its indication is usually limited by breast size, due to difficulty repositioning the Nipple-Areola Complex (NAC) and treating excess skin in large breasts. The challenge in these cases is to maximize the aesthetic result without increasing the risk of necrosis and other complications.

Background: Adhesive Bowel Obstruction (ABO) is a major cause of intestinal obstruction globally and in the developing world. Although guidelines for its management lean towards initial non-operative management, it is important to identify factors that may predict the need for an operative intervention in the early phase of presentation.
