Recently, the social networking applications expand rapidly and attract a lot of users in a short time period. This study attempts to develop a conceptual model to understand the continuance intention in the context of social networking. The conceptual model integrates the post-acceptance model of information system continuance with perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness proposed by Bhattacherjee (2001a) and Davis (1989), respectively. In the proposed model, continuance intention is influenced by the relationship quality and information system quality. Additionally, nine propositions are developed based the proposed model and literature review. Finally, conclusions, managerial implications, and future direction of research are also provided.

Initially, a significant number of contextual information can be employed to describe the pervasive system. Hence, to design this type of system, there is a stern need for a new information system. Unlike the classical information system, the new system integrates the mobile devices characterized by different hardware and software capacity and other useful devices. Therefore, most pervasive information system designers provide mechanisms and architectures to effectively save, recover and submit the most relevant information to the user regardless of location, time and the user's equipment which are independent of the network constraints. In this paper, the authors present a model to describe the pervasive information system through the use of the existing contextual models. In the same context, they suggest a semantic description to adapt the users to six categories of contextual information by taking the semantic-web-service creation as a basis. Finally, they present the semantic rules applied to the intended description and notification system to validate these rules.

An emerging class of technologies defined as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) has been heralded as the answer for inflexible IT architecture and promises to reduce operational barriers of current IT infrastructures. In SOA, loosely coupled Web services are integrated to provide dynamic digital capabilities within and across enterprise boundaries. Little research exists on development processes of information systems using Web services and against certain development metrics. One way to perform such research is to propose a development approach, identify the metrics, and embed the metrics into the technique of service composition to allow system development with desired characteristics. This paper reports an approach to information system development based on Web services composition and the metrics designed for such approaches. This approach is based on semi-automatic, interactive, and iterative Web service composition -- a hybrid technique based on developing and searching an AND/OR graph for composite services discovery while taking into consideration human judgment for solution selection and validation by interactions in an iterative way. The composition process leverages historical Web service usage data and provides helpful suggestions to the users regarding available component services. The authors propose that the metrics can investigate the characteristics of such development approaches.

In order to remedy the deficiency of application of bar code that needs artificial intervention in automotive manufacture, we propose a solution to integrate Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system in the original enterprise information system based on Web service. Distributed real-time data of welding, lacquer covering and assembly workshops in the automotive manufacture are collected, that are used in the enterprise information system to provide more productions information for management. Firstly, the architecture of integrating the RFID system and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in automotive manufacture is given, that is focused on the RFID system network, the Middleware and the Application Gateway. Finally, web service implementation is designed to integrate RFID system in enterprise information system.
