This article examines different approaches that could be applied / used by engineers for lean design. Lean design can let companies make a profit while satisfying customers in the developing world. In developing markets, difficulty in gathering the necessary data can lead to lengthy delays or broad assumptions in the product development cycle. The iterative approach of lean design stresses leveraging sales data, customer feedback, and distributor feedback to evaluate and refine the important metrics of value, growth, and impact of a particular product that could drive the design process and optimize the product. The experts also say that when designing products for the developing world, making money is not the only value proposition. Engineers must keep ethics in mind. Engineers must also understand the social and health consequences of introducing products into the marketplace and ensure that any product does not adversely impact the customer or community. Products must be designed that have broad enough appeal to drive a sustainable market for the company.

Crime prevention strategies often aim at changing the motivations and predispositions of offenders. A new approach has developed within the last dec ade which focuses on changing the behavior of potential victims. The authors explore the theoretical foundations of the new strategies for reducing crime, commonly known as community crime prevention. They suggest that the in novation is a result of a major shift in the research paradigm for studying the effects of crime. The orientation underlying community crime prevention is labeled the "victimization perspective." Following a description of some limitations in that perspective, the authors offer, as an alternative, a perspective oriented toward social control. The social control perspective, which is based on the empirical findings of several recently completed research projects, offers a theoretical foundation both for a fresh approach to the study of the effects of crime and for the development of policies for community crime prevention.

Therefore Criminology is also include the study of the social reaction against crime. Edwin H Sutherland and Cressey said that the crime prevention or the social reaction against crime include within criminology. And really, accordance with the development of criminology science it needs the other sciences to support it in analizing  for crime and crime causation such as the anthropology science phsichology science sociology criminal science etc. There are several approaches analizing about the crime and the effort of crime prevention. Keywords: The crime prevention, The social reaction against crime

Although Benbasat and Zmud’s (2003) pronouncement of an “identity crisis” within the information systems (IS) discipline has been mitigated in the industrialized world, the authors are concerned that the crisis still looms large in the developing world. The author’s objective is to theoretically underpin how the discipline can extend its social presence in developing countries to help sustain life. These arguments are contextualized with an in-depth examination of an area for which information systems research has much to offer: telemedicine. Telemedicine is an information systems intensive method concerning the remote delivery of healthcare. Telemedicine is fundamental to any healthcare solution in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)— a capital-starved society, home to 33 of the 48 least developed countries of the world, and suffering from a dire shortage of medical professionals. The social, political, and economic idiosyncrasies of SSA require a different lens to investigate telemedicine to induce social development. This paper proposes a research framework for telemedicine transfer in the context of SSA with propositions pertinent to the developing world. The authors draw on thorough implications of this research agenda as a stepping stone to recreate a social identity in developing nations plagued with more immediate concerns surrounding basic human sustenance.

Environmental security enhancement (based on people understanding about their surroundings) is one of the most important approaches which are considered by advanced societies in the social sciences, management and “environment designing” in order to improve the use of “ladies parks”. Safety as an objective and subjective receiving is arising from the structure and layout of the environment. Therefore, to increase it, required criteria and standards should be considered for designing the ladies parks. The aim of this study is to investigate the environmental security of Ladies Park by using Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) approach. This is a kind of descriptive and analytical study based on survey using inventory technique. This study expresses the problems of ladies parks by using CPTED approach. The statistical population of this research is Narges Park (Qom, Iran), the first park which has been constructed in the city for women. The results of the study show that women in their exclusive parks look for relaxation away from the masculine environment. The existence of environmental security and preventing people from seeing inside the park is one of the key factors which can increase the parks privacy and create peace of mind for users of the park. To increase the level of security in our environment, this study suggests the spaces proper design according to social cultural and ideological conditions of the city and park landscaping using Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) approach.

The world is facing a new era of criminal activities in cyber space, which are being committed across the world, irrespective of geographical boundaries. These cybercrime acts may be financially driven acts, related to computer content, or against the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of computer systems. The relative risk and threat differs between governments and businesses. The level of criminal organization represents a defining feature of the human association element behind criminal conduct. India accounts for close to $8bn of the total $110bn cost of global cyber crime. The Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, specifies the acts that are punishable. Cyber crime has also affected the social media. A crime prevention plan with clear priorities and targets needs to be established, and government should include permanent guidelines in its programmes and structure for controlling crime and ensuring that clear responsibilities and goals exist within government for the organization of crime prevention. This chapter seeks to find out the motives and suspects of cyber crime perpetration and suggests measures for crime prevention.

The main aim of the article is to identify and analyse the use of American and European experience in the environmental design of safety and security places with reference to police teaching in Poland. Based on theoretical methods, the article describes the activity of the Polish Police in crime prevention through environmental design, including educational component. Furthermore, the article refers to changes in the study programme in the field of internal security and to the social crime prevention programme called ”Safer together” as a potential source of national regulations and indications of environmental design.
