Abstract: Identity theft is a frightening and often very serious concern to everyone. A novel risk-mitigation algorithm, the Hybrid Transaction Algorithm, is given in an effort to provide individuals with peace of mind (HTA). With the random codes, the proposed HTA aims to implement two-factor authentication. This kind of user authentication has been generally recognized, and many businesses have begun to employ it as a security feature. This may be used to identify people and provide a secure method of buying products online. The suggested method involves using mobile devices to log into card accounts using an application in order to examine the randomly generated code. This is then entered when required on an online retailer's website in order to verify the person making the transaction. This reduces the chance of an unauthorized user using someone else's details to make fraudulent transactions. Identity thieves cannot use stolen card information to make transactions unless they have a valid code. This, in turn, protects both the customer and the credit card companies, who may be financially affected. We give one case study to demonstrate the security of our methodology in order to better understand how it may safeguard someone from having a stolen credit card used. Keywords: Two-Factor Authentication; Hybrid Transaction Algorithm (HTA); AES Encryption; SHA–256.

Based on a representative survey on crime prevention, this paper studies how personal values are related to persons’ acceptance of legal norms (LNA). We here take a closer look at these relations than previous research. Offenses, in particular, are classified into three offense types (no victim (OT1), legal person as victim (OT2, real person as victim (OT3)), and the persons’ ratings are studied both as observed and as individually centered data. It is found that conservation-oriented persons give higher and less differentiated badness ratings for all offenses than persons striving for hedonism and stimulation. The correlational structure of basic personal values and norm acceptance ratings for 14 different offenses, when represented via multidimensional scaling, exhibits that conservation orientation becomes a better predictor of LNA of all offense types if it is augmented by an additional value, peace of mind. When looking at centered ratings (i.e., controlling for each person’s mean ratings), social values become the best predictors of OT2 offenses (tax evasion, benefits fraud, taking bribes). Statements on the impact of personal values on general norm acceptance should, therefore, be replaced with more differentiated relations on how particular values are related to peoples’ attitudes towards particular offenses.

The nursing care of patients with extensive burns by using multifunctional intelligent suspension treatment beds was studied. 40 patients, including 30 males and 10 females, with extensive burns were nursed using multifunctional intelligent suspension treatment beds. First of all, the patients were given psychological care, which was patiently explained, so that they can overcome their fears and be treated with peace of mind. Second, the room temperature and bed temperature were closely monitored. Finally, special attention was paid to the adjustment of rehydration volume, regular detection of plasma electrolytes, prevention of electrolyte disorder, and dehydration. Besides, disinfection and isolation should be performed when using. The results showed that 4 cases (20%) were positive in group A and 8 cases (40%) were positive in group B on the 10th day after injury X 2 = 4.005 , and the incidence of wound infection in group A was significantly lower than that in group B. The use of suspension beds in patients with extensive burns makes them safe and comfortable, and the whole body wound scabs healed faster, as well as the infection was minimized. A suspended bed is especially suitable for the clinical treatment of patients with extensive burns. The advantages of suspended bed can be fully realized by summarizing clinical experience.

Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, family concerns regarding residents in long-term care facilities (LTCFs) increased dramatically due to the higher proportion of deaths in LTCFs and an inability to visit, observe care, or easily communicate with residents. However, little is known about how these facilities communicated with families and how communications were related to family perceptions about the facility. To address these knowledge gaps, we implemented an online survey of family members or friends of residents in LTCFs from April 28 to June 19, 2020. A total of 174 responses nationwide reported the types of communications used, frequency of communication and alternative visits, and whether the families had peace of mind, would recommend the facility and whether they were considering removing the resident from the facility. We performed chi-square and t-tests to identify differences in perception among families. Results showed that respondents had more negative perspectives of a facility when they were not informed about confirmed COVID cases. There were no differences in family members’ perceptions of a facility based on the frequency of alternative visits. When respondents could communicate with their family members in an LTCF by telephone, email, mail, and window visits, they had more peace of mind. Respondents were more likely to recommend the facility to others when they were able to communicate via mail with the facility. Our findings suggest multiple communications and transparency about COVID status were most effective in keeping positive family perceptions about the facility. Our results can inform future facility communication protocols.
