Experiences from Developing a Component Technology Agnostic Adaptation Framework

In order to meet requirements of increasingly high-speed, large and intelligent mechanical equipments on fault diagnosis, the Internet-based reconfigurable mechanical system fault diagnosis program was presented. The overall structure and networking schema of distance mechanical fault diagnosis system were analyzed, and the distance fault diagnosis network model based on J2EE framework was also described. The structural model and reconfigurable manner of the reconfigurable distance diagnosis system was provided, which used CORBA component technology to achieve reconfiguration. The detail steps of system that take some type of diesel engine as diagnosis object was described, and the intelligent diagnosing methods were also researched. The Internet-based fault diagnosis technology effectively improves the efficiency and accuracy of diagnostic systems.

Record machining tasks and machine status automatically based on one development kit for CNC system. A custom control is developed based on COM component technology to view recorded machining tasks and machine status on the CNC screen real-time. The function of data acquisition implemented by this article, can not only provide the basic data for the MES system, but also facilitate the operators to view the machining tasks and machine status.

Based on the concept of parametric design, this paper realizes the parametric modeling and parametric finite element analysis by utilizing UG/OPEN secondary development tool and APDL module of ANSYS software respectively. This paper also achieves data sharing of CAD/CAE through compiling interface program between UG6.0 and ANSYS10.0. In addition, the remote design and analysis platform has been built by using ASP.NET technology, component technology, and database technology. We take piston-piston rod part of coal mining machine’s cutting unit as an example to verify the system. Meanwhile, it proves system can effectively shorten design and analysis cycle time, and reduce workload of designer. Therefore, this software has potential application value in engineering.

With the development of component technology and component library expansion, component representation and retrieval technology as the component library management two core technologies has become a research hotspot. According to the current widely used methods described and characteristics of components faceted classification, this paper starting from component reuse by different search methods，based on view search method、based on faceted search method、based on terms retrieval method three kinds of term component retrieval methods and the corresponding model of the five matches and two matching algorithms are proposed. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the three kinds of retrieval methods used in large-scale component library component retrieval, to meet the component reuse of various search requirements and the retrieval efficiency is feasible.
