This study aims to determine the extent to which the teaching staff in the Semarang State Polytechnic Accounting Department applies a style of speech; i.e. either oratory, deliberative, consultative, relaxed, or intimate. The data collection is done by questionnaire and class observation. The population of this study consists of teaching staff at the Semarang State Polytechnic Accounting Department. The data is more qualitative, which is more in the form of a description of the characteristics of the respondents and not much related to the numbers. Sampling technique is done by population, namely all teaching staff of Semarang State Polytechnic Accounting Department. Data analysis is carried out by a Likert Scale of 5. The results indicate that Consultative Speech is the style most widely applied by the Teaching Staff of the Semarang State Polytechnic Accounting Department, while the oratoric speaking style is the least practiced style. Extemporan presentation method is the most widely applied method in the activities of the Teaching and Learning Process in the Semarang State Polytechnic Accounting Department, while the impromptu method is the least applied method. The most widely used body language is a smile, while eye flicker is the least applied body language. The distance between the Teaching Staff and Students in the Teaching and Learning Process activities that are most widely applied are groups (125-350 cm), while the least applied distance is intimate (50 cm). The results of this study support the previous research that the use of Body Language greatly affects the success of the Teaching and Learning process.

Cyberbullying is a critical issue in society worldwide, however in Ecuador is not given necessary importance to mitigate this cybercrime. It has been proposed to develop an exhaustive analysis of the laws that are currently considered to sanction cyberbullying when denouncing this fact. The deductive method and exploratory research were employed to make the analysis of the information consulted from the various sources that are obtained on the network about the topic discussed. The investigation revealed how cyberbullying cases arise, from which it is obtained that only 0.07% have been reported, with this result it can be deduced that the number of reported cases is very low in relation to the total number of cellphones activated in Ecuador and people who may be victims of this cyber-crime. In addition, a “Criminal Process Diagram” was obtained that determines the sequence of how the judicial process work. The applied method resulted the following: Can be created a law project that battles each type of derived cyberbullying. It was concluded that several institutions in Ecuador work together with organizations to prevent cyberbullying, however, when this happens, the laws are not enough to punish the act.

The application of rationalized thinning technology in beech coppice stands was studied. Three basic methods of thinning: schematic, selection and combined method were analyzed. In the framework of each of the above thinning methods, different thinning varieties were designed, differing by the degree of crosscutting, width of gathering lines and their distance. The applied method of felling and crosscutting is the whole tree method or log method, and the form of work organization (1M+1R). The felling and crosscutting are characterized by two key work operations: directed felling and manual collection of the felled wood material. Manual collection is made significantly easier by the correct selection of tree felling direction which in turn affects significantly the rationalization of the entire thinning process.

This paper is concerned with the analysis of the theory of the French article presented in the classical work by Guillaume "Le problème de l'article et sa solution dans la langue française". The paper emphasizes Guillaume's search for the semantic nature of the relationships determining the distribution of articles. The paper supports Guillaume, who seems to claim, contrary to what is commonly believed, that the function of the articles is non inherent in them, but that it is determined by the semantic properties of the nouns which select them. Treating this claim as the starting point, the paper focuses on the analysis of various senses of noun phrases, carried out in terms of the functional calculus. The applied method invalidates the extensional theory of the noun accepted by Guillaume, as well as a number of generalisations made by him. The paper shows logical and semantic conditions of some rules governing the use of the article. They differ from those proposed by Guillaume in that they seem to reach a deeper level of linguistic mechanisms. On the other hand, the emphasis is laid on Guillaume's subtle analysis and detailed observations, which stand in a sharp contrast to his rather vague generalizations.

The article presents results of performed computed-tomography research of samples from polymer composite materials in order to quantify a volume fraction of pores. Tomographic research includes two stages: scanning and image reconstruction. At the first stage, there is applied method of subpixel scanning, which raises resolution of the image. At image-reconstruction stage, there are applied corrections provided by the CT system software. Results of volume fraction of pores estimation, obtained by subpixel and single cylindrical scanning have shown their full convergence.
