Java Spring is an application development framework for enterprise Java. It is an open source platform which is used to develop robust Java application easily. Spring can also be performed using MVC structure. The MVC architecture is based on Model View and Controller techniques, where the project structure or code is divided into three parts or sections which helps to categorize the code files and other files in an organized form. Model, View and Controller code are interrelated and often passes and fetches information from each other without having to put all code in a single file which can make testing the program easy. Testing the application while and after development is an integral part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Different techniques have been used to test the web application which is developed using Java Spring MVC architecture. And compares the results among all the three different techniques used to test the web application.

A combination of conceptual analysis and empirical analysis—partial regression and residuals analysis—was used to derive an appropriate functional form hedonic price model. These procedures are illustrated in the derivation of a functional form hedonic model for an automated, econometric daily cotton price reporting system for the Texas-Oklahoma cotton market. Following conceptualization to deduce the general shapes of relationships, the appropriate specific functional form was found by testing particular attribute transformations identified from partial regression analysis. Minimizing structural errors across attribute levels and estimation accuracy were used in determining when an appropriate functional form for both implicit and explicit prices was found.

Fe3O4 ferrofluids with uniform magnetic particles were prepared via improved chemical coprecipation technique. A narrow distribution of 8.6-10.8 nm particle sizes was obtained from the magnetization curve using the free-form-model based on Bayesian inference theory. The mean particle diameter about 9.8 nm is consistent with the XRD and SEM results. The hydrodynamic properties of ferrofluids were investigated with different applied magnetic field and shear rate. The experimental results show that diluted ferrofluid and concentrated ferrofluid are Newtonian-fluid and Bingham-plastic fluid, respectively.

Abstract It has been recently suggested that fluid inertia may play an important role in the dynamic behavior of rotors supported on journal bearings. This paper presents a model for fluid inertia forces in short cylindrical journal bearings based on an energy approximation. The inertialess velocity profiles predicted by the solution of Reynolds’ equation are inserted in the axial momentum equation multiplied by the axial velocity profile and integrated across the film thickness, to obtain the pressure in short journal bearings including the fluid inertia effect. The pressure is then integrated to obtain the fluid inertia forces. It is shown that the inertia forces thus obtained are proportional to the usual radial, centripetal, tangential and coriolis accelerations of the journal, in addition to a nonlinear radial acceleration. Moreover, it is shown that the inertia forces contribute to the stiffness and damping characteristics of the journal bearings. The inertia coefficients of the bearings are obtained in cartezian and cylindrical coordinates, for both uncavitated and cavitated bearings, and are plotted versus the eccentricity ratio. The model thus obtained is an analytical closed form model for fluid inertia forces in short journal bearings. Such a model is the most suitable for rotordynamic applications, particularly for time transient rotordynamic simulations.
