AbstractIn this paper we present and study the ideal duplication, a new construction within the class of the relative ideals of a numerical semigroup S, that, under specific assumptions, produces a relative ideal of the numerical duplication $$S\bowtie ^b E$$ S ⋈ b E . We prove that every relative ideal of the numerical duplication can be uniquely written as the ideal duplication of two relative ideals of S; this allows us to better understand how the basic operations of the class of the relative ideals of $$S\bowtie ^b E$$ S ⋈ b E work. In particular, we characterize the ideals E such that $$S\bowtie ^b E$$ S ⋈ b E is nearly Gorenstein.

Abstract The paper deals with the new approach to torque measurement in turboshafts. New construction of torque measurement is described with the highlighted advantages of the construction. The paper familiarizes the reader with the step-by-step algorithm of the torque measurement. As torque measurement units are not ideal, i.e. have manufacturing inaccuracies, so each unit has its own performance. The calibration algorithm to be in charge of obtaining the individual performance from the ideal one is described in the paper as well.

Abstract: The phenomenon of substantive injustice related to the kingdom land policy of in the Dictum IV letter A of the UUPA which states that “The rights and authorities of the land and water of the Swapraja or former Swapraja (kingdom) which still exist at the time of entry into force of this law are removed and transferred to the State”, is an injustice felt by former kingdom, considering that land rights are private rights that cannot be taken arbitrarily. This happened also because there was no proper compensation for the loss of the rights of their comfort in life due to arbitrary land acquisition by the state. Land Office must be a progressiveminded office which is able to interpret which laws need to be applied to realize substantial justice and which laws already contain justice. The ideal new construction of the concept of justice in former kingdom land policies based on progressive law is nothing but to realize substantial justice. The whole process of the operation of the legal implementation instrument (Land Office) must be verifiable into the factors of justice, welfare, concern for the people and others, all of which has been contained in the values   of Pancasila.

Let I be an ideal of a numerical semigroup Λ. We define an undirected graph GIΛ with vertex set vi:i∈Λ∖I∗=Λ∖I−0 and edge set vivj⟺i+j∈I. The aim of this article is to discuss the connectedness, girth, completeness, and some other related properties of the graph GIΛ.

We provide a characterization of the Arf property in both the numerical duplication of a numerical semigroup and in a member of a family of quotients of the Rees algebra studied in [V. Barucci, M. AbstractLet F denote a binary form of order d over the complex numbers. If r is a divisor of d, then the Hilbert covariant Hr,d(F) vanishes exactly when F is the perfect power of an order r form. In geometric terms, the coefficients of H give defining equations for the image variety X of an embedding Pr ↪ Pd. In this paper we describe a new construction of the Hilbert covariant and simultaneously situate it into a wider class of covariants called the Göttingen covariants, all of which vanish on X. We prove that the ideal generated by the coefficients of H defines X as a scheme. Finally, we exhibit a generalisation of the Göttingen covariants to n-ary forms using the classical Clebsch transfer principle.

A new construction of Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation systems with Iterative Decoding (BICM-ID) is proposed to achieve the best performance over white additive Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels, assuming that the ideal feedback (IF) holds for iterative decoding. For a class of so-called regular IF mappings, new upper bounds for error probabilities are presented for both cases of BICM-ID systems using overall and in-line interleaving. Search results for component Recursive Systematic Convolutional (RSC) codes with and without puncturing are reported for 4-PSK and 8-PSK signal sets.

Multiplicative inverse transversals of regular semigroups were introduced by Blyth and McFadden in 1982. Since then, regular semigroups with an inverse transversal and their generalizations, such as regular semigroups with an orthodox transversal and abundant semigroups with an ample transversal, are investigated extensively in literature. On the other hand, restriction semigroups are generalizations of inverse semigroups in the class of non-regular semigroups. In this paper we initiate the investigations of E-semiabundant semigroups by using the ideal of "transversals". More precisely, we first introduce multiplicative restriction transversals for E-semiabundant semigroups and obtain some basic properties of E-semiabundant semigroups containing a multiplicative restriction transver- sal. Then we provide a construction method for E-semiabundant semigroups containing a multiplicative restriction transversal by using the Munn semigroup of an admissible quadruple and a restriction semigroup under some natural conditions. Our construction is similar to Hall's spined product construction of an orthodox semigroup. As a corollary, we obtain a new construction of a regular semigroup with a multiplicative inverse transversal and an abundant semigroup having a multiplicative ample transversal, which enriches the corresponding results obtained by Blyth-McFadden and El-Qallali, respectively.

The technique of labeling of macromolecules with ferritin conjugated antibody has been successfully used for extracellular antigen by means of staining the specimen with conjugate prior to fixation and embedding. However, the ideal method to determine the location of intracellular antigen would be to do the antigen-antibody reaction in thin sections. This technique contains inherent problems such as the destruction of antigenic determinants during fixation or embedding and the non-specific attachment of conjugate to the embedding media. Certain embedding media such as polyampholytes (2) or cross-linked bovine serum albumin (3) have been introduced to overcome some of these problems.

The reconstruction of a three-dimensional image of a specimen from a set of electron micrographs reduces, under certain assumptions about the imaging process in the microscope, to the mathematical problem of reconstructing a density distribution from a set of its plane projections. In the absence of noise we can formulate a purely geometrical criterion, which, for a general object, fixes the resolution attainable from a given finite number of views in terms of the size of the object. For simplicity we take the ideal case of projections collected by a series of m equally spaced tilts about a single axis.
