Using the precision trigonometric elevation instead of the precision levelling to build a CPⅢ elevation control network will greatly increase the speed of CPⅢ control network construction. However, the accuracy of CPIII precision trigonometric elevation control network is still difficult to reach the level of CPⅢ precision levelling network. Based on the existing parameter method, this paper introduces some precision levelling for joint adjustment, and uses Helmert’s variance estimation method to perform strict weight determination. Our experiments show that when the number of precision levelling participating in the joint adjustment exceeds 1/3 of the total number of CPⅢ precision levelling network observations, the accuracy of the CPIII precision trigonometric elevation control network can be effectively improved.

The objective was to investigate the association between time spent on waking activities and nonaligned sleep duration in a representative sample of the US population. We analysed time use data from the American Time Use Survey (ATUS), 2015–2017 (N = 31,621). National Sleep Foundation (NSF) age-specific sleep recommendations were used to define recommended (aligned) sleep duration. The balanced, repeated, replicate variance estimation method was applied to the ATUS data to calculate weighted estimates. Less than half of the US population had a sleep duration that mapped onto the NSF recommendations, and alignment was higher on weekdays (45%) than at weekends (33%). The proportion sleeping longer than the recommended duration was higher than those sleeping shorter on both weekdays and weekends (p < 0.001). Time spent on work, personal care, socialising, travel, TV watching, education, and total screen time was associated with nonalignment to the sleep recommendations. In comparison to the appropriate recommended sleep group, those with a too-short sleep duration spent more time on work, travel, socialising, relaxing, and leisure. By contrast, those who slept too long spent relatively less time on each of these activities. The findings indicate that sleep duration among the US population does not map onto the NSF sleep recommendations, mostly because of a higher proportion of long sleepers compared to short sleepers. More time spent on work, travel, and socialising and relaxing activities is strongly associated with an increased risk of nonalignment to NSF sleep duration recommendations.

The dq-frame admittance of closed-loop controlled three-phase converters is a linearized model that is dependent on the operating points of the system. Yet, it is impractical to measure the converter admittance at all operating points. This paper, thus, proposes an approach to estimating the dq-frame admittance of three-phase converters at a wide range of operating points. The method applies multidimensional interpolation to a given set of admittance data, which is measured from the pre-defined operating points. The accuracy of interpolation is then evaluated by using the posterior error estimation method. The number of pre-defined operating points is next adjusted to find a good compromise between the accuracy and efficiency of the approach. Simulations and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the approach.

The existing sparse imaging observation error estimation methods are to usually estimate the error of each observation position by substituting the error parameters into the iterative reconstruction process, which has a huge calculation cost. In this paper, by analysing the relationship between imaging results of single-observation sampling data and error parameters, a SAR observation error estimation method based on maximum relative projection matching is proposed. First, the method estimates the precise position parameters of the reference position by the sparse reconstruction method of joint error parameters. Second, a relative error estimation model is constructed based on the maximum correlation of base-space projection. Finally, the accurate error parameters are estimated by the Broyden–Fletcher–Goldfarb–Shanno method. Simulation and measured data of microwave anechoic chambers show that, compared to the existing methods, the proposed method has higher estimation accuracy, lower noise sensitivity, and higher computational efficiency.

UCT (Upper confidential bounds on Trees) has been applied quite well as a selection approach in MCTS(Monte Carlo Tree Search) in imperfect information games like poker. By using risk dominance as complementary part of decision method besides payoff dominance, opponent strategies is better characterized as their risk factors, like bluff actions in Texas Hold’em Poker . In this paper, estimation method about the influence of risk factors on computing game equilibrium is provided. A novel algorithm, UCT-risk is proposed as modification about UCT algorithm basing on risk estimation methods. To verify the performance of new algorithm, Texas Hold’em, a popular test-bed for AI research is chosen as the experiment platform. The Agent adopted UCT-risk algorithm performs as well or better as the best previous approaches in experiments. And also it is applied in a poker agent named HITSZ_CS_13 in the 2013 AAAI Computer Poker Competition, which confirms the effectiveness of the UCT-risk provided in this paper.

In order to improve the contour error accuracy of two-dimensional linear motor, an improved cross-coupled control (CCC) scheme combining real-time contour error estimation and model-free adaptive control (MFAC) is proposed. The real-time contour error estimation method is based on CCC theory and coordinate transformation idea. It can accurately determine the contour error point of regular contour and avoid the influence of tracking error on the contour error. At the same time, for the design of two-axis error controller, only the input and output data generated by two-dimensional linear motor in reciprocating motion are used to design a multiple input multiple output-model-free adaptive control (MIMO-MFAC) algorithm, this algorithm avoids the dependence on accurate mathematical model and reduces the control difficulty. The experimental comparison showed that the proposed method improves the system tracking accuracy and contour accuracy, and verifies the proposed method correctness and effectiveness.
