In this paper is presented the physical model and mathematical approach which describe the equation system used in system calibration and design optimization. The system proposed for study is built from heat pump, for energy demand delivery, together with auxiliary heating source to face in all low temperature days, when heat pump work at maximum load but the required demand for daily hot water by the building inhabitants is higher. The paper present few of the common used systems in market for which the mathematical equation system will be proposed to come in help designers for in simulation and cost optimization. Simulation of proposed design is realized and results are delivered. The system construction, is optimized by comparison study of design and simulation data for each system type proposed. The comparison study is used for cost estimation of system and energy balance.

In this paper, the basic concepts and methods of multidisciplinary design optimization, uncertainty analysis and robust design have been introduced. According to the features of a multi-functional open-air hydraulic drill, a new design theory called multidisciplinary robust optimization design was discussed. This theory can undertake uncertainty analysis and robust design in multidisciplinary design optimization. It fully considers both the synergy among each disciplinary or subsystem in the multi-functional open-air hydraulic drill to get the optimal solution to the whole system and the effect of the uncertainty factors upon the drill quality, and adopts the parallel design to improve the quality, robustness and reliability of the drill, to shorten the market cycles of products, to reduce product cost. Finally, the design points were discussed in detail in the paper.

The aim of this thesis is carrying out a study on the residential architectural design in the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia, with an analysis on existing problems on the window design, based on the theory of residential building design and the energy-saving policy, in order to come up with an optimization of residential window design in severe cold zones.
