We synthesized Zn-stabilized SnSe (SnSe/ZnSe) QDs with sizes from 5.7 nm to 10 nm. SnSe/ZnSe QDs were used for an efficient PEC hydrogen evolution. A saturated photocurrent density (J) as high as ∼7 mA cm−2 was obtained.
