Abstract Under the conditions of increased competition, imperatives for banking institutions are focusing on the provision of better quality services, meeting the needs of clients and adjusting to their specific demands, as these are the conditions for achieving satisfaction. Satisfaction has a consequent effect on the realisation of communication, but also economic business goals of market players. In accordance with these facts, the significance of measuring the quality of services needs to be pointed out. In recent years, the tendency of increase in the number of bank clients who use electronic banking services has been perceived in the Republic of Serbia. Advantages of this modern service are numerous, and the ones that stand out among them are saving time, more favourable price, comfortable and fast transaction execution. The purpose of this paper is to examine the satisfaction of clients in relation to electronic banking services, i.e. to come to a conclusion which elements of service quality have an impact on satisfaction, as well as to assess the intensity of such impact. In order to obtain the necessary information, we have used the measures of descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis. The data have been collected using the survey method and the questionnaire distributed to respondents for the purpose of specific research has been created on the basis of previous research in the quality of service field. The results have shown that three dimensions of modified SERVQUAL model (security, ease of use and responsibility) have a statistically significant impact on satisfaction, while other factors (reliability, empathy and website content) have, in their joint effect, indicated a non-significant impact on satisfaction. The contribution of this paper is reflected in the fact that the identification of factors (reliability, empathy, website content) that have not achieved a significant impact in their joint effect on the satisfaction of clients with electronic banking can be a signal for the management of financial institutions to take action in order to reduce the perceived risk, maintain trust, provide training and development of employees, modernize website appearance.

Jelen cikkben a kutatás legfontosabb tanulságait mutatják be a szerzők. _________ The authors’ research was conducted to explore the ebanking attitudes, habits and vision of small and medium enterprises. By the interviews of more than 500 managers of SMEs, it is concluded that e-banking attitudes are not, or not significantly related to the objective characteristics of the enterprises, e.g. to the number of employment, the revenues or its activities. It became clear, that the interpretation of the specific e-banking terms means an important problem for some managers. The deficiencies of knowledge have direct effects on e-banking attitude and the use of electronic banking methods of the enterprises, although the value of the satisfaction level is above 80% among the customers of each examined banks. Thus, the main objective is to explain to the “Scepticals” and the “Considerers” the benefits of the “Progressives” cluster. The most important success factors of customer satisfaction are safety, availability in time and space and ease of use. According to the vision of the respondents, banking services will probably be shifted towards e-channels. In this study, the most important findings of our researches were summarized.

It examined various aspects of electronic services provided by banks in Saudi Arabia to shed more light on these services and customer expectations, while also taking into account modern studies in this field as secondary data. The results show that Saudi banks have succeeded in attaining significant customer satisfaction by improving their electronic services, facilitating electronic transactions, improving processing performance and enhancing the specifications of electronic services. In addition, they have achieved effective communication with their customers as well as the speed of applications. As the number of smart phone users and the popularity of Internet among people are growing day by day in Bangladesh, it became necessary for Bangladeshi local banks to provide mobile banking services to their customers. Therefore, this study seeks to identify the crucial and determining factors that may affect the intention of customers to use mobile banking services. The sample size in this study is 91, in which majority are the students of Business Studies. All respondents have mobile banking at the time of the survey. The samples in the study were mainly drawn from the private university students (i.e. Business Administration students) and faculty members, and some bank officers participated as sample respondents in this study. A non-probability random sampling method is applied, and a 5% significance level is used to accept the hypotheses. Cronbach alpha (α) of 0.7 and above is considered to measure the reliability of the item wise variables. This study examines six variables (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, security, perceived privacy, and technology competency) to analyze their impact on the behavioral intention of banking customers to use mobile banking services. Three variables, namely perceived usefulness, security, and technology competency, are found to be significant predictors of customers’ intent to use mobile banking in Bangladesh. For analytical purposes, SPSS version 23.0 is used to test hypotheses. The paper also provides significant implications for bank managers to increase the adoption of mobile banking for their sustainability.

A growing phenomenon in the Internet is the rising exploitation of sophisticated security means (e.g. cryptography, digital signatures etc.) toward the development of novel commerce services for providing electronic transactions, collaborating with business partners or serving customers, regardless of geographical and time limitations. This paper discusses, presents and elaborates on the various factors that affect the adaption of Internet banking services in Greece. In particular, it deals with the factors that have been developed within the framework of providing e-banking services over an insecure shared medium like the Internet and affect the Internet Banking customer acceptance. A factor analysis is performed based on the gathered results provided by customer-questionnaires of ALPHA Bank branch in Greece in order to quantify the various parameters that affect the use of an Internet Banking System. The findings of the analysis show that despite the fact that Internet Banking in Greece is steadily increasing its penetration, factors like security, ease of use and perceived usefulness of a system play a major role on the final decision of the customer to adopt an Internet Banking System.
