This chapter examines how and why sexual identity remains a fruitful site of scholarly research in the organizational literature on LGBTQ+ sexualities. Despite the vast attention that is now lavished on identities in organizations generally, LGBTQ+ identities have, at least until now, been relatively ignored in the organizations and identities literature. Accordingly, this chapter historicizes LGBTQ+ sexualities and identities, providing insights into why identity is such a prominent concept in the broader literature on LGBTQ+ sexualities. The theoretical diversity in how LGBTQ+ sexualities have been conceptualized in terms of identity is considered. The core sections of the chapter review some of the principal concepts and scholarly contributions within research on LGBTQ+ identity disclosure (e.g. personal motives and organizational factors that influence how and when disclosure occurs) and identity management (e.g. management strategies and the identity implications of the normalization of some LGBT+ sexualities). Knowledge gaps are exposed and avenues for future avenues of research are signposted.

Lullabies are essentially sung for their soothing nature but, as this article shows, they have other important functions. One of the most important of these is that lullabies may provide much-needed language stimulation with important long-term consequences for future learning. This paper begins the work of addressing the dearth of scholarly research on lullabies, especially in the Yoruba (Nigeria: Niger-Congo) culture. It looks at the range of themes, dictions, and prosody that are intertwined to reveal Yoruba beliefs and world-views about children, starting with their time in the womb. The study uses a descriptive survey method to analyse data collected through participant observation. It shows that Yoruba lullabies not only offer insights into Yoruba cultural beliefs but also depend greatly on figurative expression and prosodic systems. These rich literary qualities identify lullabies as the earliest sub-genre of children's poetry.

Cardiac registries have filled many gaps in knowledge related to arrhythmogenic cardiovascular conditions. Despite the less robust level of evidence available in registries when compared with clinical trials, registries have contributed a range of clinically useful information. In this review, the authors discuss the role that registries have played – related to diagnosis, natural history, risk stratification, treatment, and genetics of arrhythmogenic cardiovascular conditions – in closing knowledge gaps, and their role in the future.

AbstractThe present paper shows and discusses microphotographs of the structural composition of reconstituted tobacco sheet. So far as the biological activity of the sheets' smoke condensate had been investigated (5), the authors try to find a relation between the said activity and the microscopic structure.
