Owing to more and more sensitive loads installed in modern ships, ship owners and builders have been faced with rising numbers of complaints about the quality of power. However, the existing power monitoring facilities installed onboard for recording deviations of power parameters is only over steady-state conditions due to limited capacity of measurement equipment and ignores short-duration phenomena. To understand the true supply quality in ships, a power quality (PQ) monitoring technique is employed in this paper. The PQ parameters including short-duration and long-duration voltage and frequency variations in a practical commercial vessel power system under different operating conditions are analyzed and their statistic data are reported. Through PQ measurement and analysis, the quality of supply can be quantified and assessed according to classification society standards. Analysis model developed in this paper can assist them in understanding true supply quality in ships for further determining proper PQ mitigation options.

Power flow in any distribution system either it is multi-bus or three feeders explain by a Generalized Unified Power Quality Conditioner i.e. GUPQC.On the one side, that is DC side is connected with the common DC link capacitor which is also coupled consecutively through 3 voltage source converters. This is the simple block realization of GUPQC. This multi feeder is explained where one feeder is controlled by a parallel compensator and the next two feeders are controlled through the proposed series compensator. This technique i.e. GUPQC makes the feeder distribution free from harmonic and voltage-current compensation etc randomly. Also, it can improve the quality of supply power given to another consumer. A vast and huge study of Simulation is helped to how MATLAB/SIMULINK is used for making this type of GUPQC. Disrupted Voltage, current, and power quality issues can be easily improved in this technique.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the draft law "On Protection of Competition", which must substitute the laws "On Competition and Limitation of Monopolistic Activity on Commodity Markets" and "On Protection of Competition on the Financial Services Market". The innovations enhancing the quality of Russian competition law and new norms providing at least ambiguous effects on antimonopoly regulation are considered. The first group of positive measures includes unification of competition norms for commodity and financial markets, changes of criteria and the scale of control of economic concentrations, specification of conditions, where norms are applied "per se" and according to the "rule of reason", introduction of rules that can prevent the restriction of competition by the executive power. The interpretation of the "collective dominance" concept and certain rules devoted to antimonopoly control of state aid are in the second group of questionable steps.
