Abstract. The present research is aimed at a critical analysis of a method presently used for evaluating failure hazard in linear objects in mining areas. A fuzzy model of failure hazard of a linear object was created on the basis of the experience gathered so far. The rules of Mamdani fuzzy model have been used in the analyses. Finally the scaled model was integrated with a Geographic Information System (GIS), which was used to evaluate failure hazard in a water pipeline in a mining area.

Mining territory's natural building framework security evaluation is the thorough measure for the state and advancement patterns of mining zone's ecological framework, and it is the significant premise to take explicit measures to control the mining region's natural framework wellbeing. In this paper, under the direction of the weight - state - reaction, the mining territory's ecological framework wellbeing appraisal record model was developed, and utilizing the fluffy control hypothesis, a thorough evaluation model was built dependent on fluffy rationale, and the model have been confirmed by a coal mining zone.

Indra Dwisaputra, Boy Rolastin, Irwan, Angga Satera, in this paper explain that one commodity that can be used as a superior post-mining area such as Bangka Belitung is shrimp ponds. Touch of technology is needed because of high rainfall in this area so that changes in temperature, humidity, salinity and pH are more dynamic. Then we need a control to determine the water quality in shrimp ponds to avoid crop failure. This research was conducted by means of simulations to make it easier to analyze the results before applying. Fuzzy logic control (FLC) method is used for the water quality decision making system. By utilizing 3 input variables such as temperature, salinity and pH of water and output is an index of water quality from a scale of 0-100. The Mamdani method is applied to FLC with 27 fuzzy rules. The simulation results show that a change in one of the input variables can cause water quality to drop to 70. When there are changes in the two input variables, it can reduce water quality by 25.1. FLC can work well in decision making for water quality in shrimp culture.

Abstract.A new method was developed for continuous isotopic estimation of human whole body CO2 rate of appearance (Ra) during non-steady state exercise. The technique consisted of a breath-by-breath measurement of 13CO2 enrichment (E) and a real-time fuzzy logic feedback system which controlled NaH13CO3 infusion rate to achieve an isotopic steady state. Ra was estimated from the isotope infusion rate and body 13CO2 enrichment which was equal to E at the isotopic steady state. During a non-steady state incremental cycle exercise (5 w/min or 10 w/min), NaH13CO3 infusion rate was successfully increased by the action of feedback controller so as to keep E constant.
