This chapter proposes a new Supply Chain Business Model in the Education domain and demonstrates how Education as a Service (EaaS) can be delivered. The implementation at the University of Greenwich (UoG) is used as a case study. Cloud computing business models are classified into eight Business Models; this classification is essential to the development of EaaS. A pair of the Hexagon Models are used to review Cloud projects against success criteria; one Hexagon Model focuses on Business Model and the other on IT Services. The UoG case study demonstrates the added value offered by Supply Chain software deployed by private Cloud, where an Oracle suite and SAP supply chain can demonstrate supply chain distribution and is useful for teaching. The evaluation shows that students feel more motivated and can understand their coursework better.

The airline industry is known as high-tech industry that leads other business sectors, serving as a technological role-model. This paper proposes a conceptual model for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation in the airline industry, using a case study of a Mexican airline. The authors provide new theoretical grounds for studying the CRM. This study is an empirical assessment of the CRM model and also assesses the basic phases of the CRM implementation which are 1) Information Phase, 2) Trust Phase and 3) Objectives Phase.

Gathered data is frequently not in a numerical form allowing immediate appliance of the quantitative mathematical-statistical methods. In this paper are some basic aspects examining how quantitative-based statistical methodology can be utilized in the analysis of qualitative data sets. The transformation of qualitative data into numeric values is considered as the entrance point to quantitative analysis. Concurrently related publications and impacts of scale transformations are discussed. Subsequently, it is shown how correlation coefficients are usable in conjunction with data aggregation constrains to construct relationship modelling matrices. For illustration, a case study is referenced at which ordinal type ordered qualitative survey answers are allocated to process defining procedures as aggregation levels. Finally options about measuring the adherence of the gathered empirical data to such kind of derived aggregation models are introduced and a statistically based reliability check approach to evaluate the reliability of the chosen model specification is outlined.

The decline in the over ground utilizable space and increment in development of metro structures, cut and cover structures are winding up fairly difficult to conceptualize and build. In this examination, a nonlinear two dimensional limited component investigation was completed to show the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM) burrow developed in frail shake utilizing the business limited component with joint programming PHASE 2.The validity of the numerical modeling procedure performed by the author was checked by making back-analysis for an actual case study of Strengen Tunnel which is one of the biggest expressways in western Austria.  A comprehensive parametric study was performed on a hypothetical circle tunnel. Two dimensional numerical simulations with the finite element with joint software PHASE 2 have been performed to ground behaviour with   the results of the numerical analysis are presented and   discussed for recommendations for future work. In general the tangential stress at side wall and crown  obtained from  finite element with joints are  nearly equal or higher than the closed form solution and equivalent continuum.
