This article is the result of years of experience and contact with the teaching of the Portuguese of Brazil and with the reflections derived from a postdoctoral research. In this research, there is relevant information about the teaching of the Portuguese of Brazil as a foreign language and the various needs presented by former students from Puerto Rico. The questionnaire was used to investigate if there was a problem among the alumni community. The problem presented by the former students was the lack of a playful course in Brazilian music, which, in turn, needs to integrate all the essential components for the advanced learning of the Portuguese, such as: linguistics and its variants and society and culture. The needs found in the investigation were compiled based on the responses of students from Portuguese of Brazil in Puerto Rico. Neuroscience data revealed the indisputable connection that exists between the two cerebral hemispheres: the logical and the holistic in parallel. To solve the problem with the creation of the Brazilian musical sociolinguistics course to meet the needs of future students of the Portuguese program was one of the objectives of the work. It is also intended that the research serves as a scientific basis for the implementation of the course.

The history of the creation and development of the research unit of the Iron and Steel Institute, the department of after-furnace treatment of cast iron is presented. From 1939 to 1983, this structural unit of the ISI was headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Natalya Aleksandrovna Voronova, then for 34 years, until 2017, the student and associate of N.A. Voronova – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Shevchenko A.F., from 2017 to the present, the department is headed by Kislyakov V.G. During this period, a set of scientific research and development has provided an opportunity for the department staff to defend 3 doctoral and 16 master's theses. Two employees of the department were awarded the academic title of professor, and ten – senior research assistant. The evolution of the technological process and equipment for the processing of cast iron by granular magnesium in ladles of various capacities is shown. In particular, it was not possible to inject granular magnesium without additives with lances used to inject mixtures of magnesium with fillers into the melt due to blockage of the channel of the magnesium wire at the outlet of the lance. To solve this problem, a lance of a new design was developed, at the outlet of the channel of which an evaporation chamber was installed, the task of which was to remove the section of the lance channel from direct contact with cast iron. The design of tuyeres with evaporation chambers made it possible to virtually eliminate blockages of the tuyere channel. The studies of the interaction of magnesium with molten iron became the scientific basis for the creation of a modern highly automated process for the secondary refining of cast iron by mono-injection of magnesium without additives. This technology received the most successful application in the creation of modernized complexes at Chinese enterprises. Since 2001, 84 complexes of out-of-furnace desulphurization of pig iron and slag download using ISI technology with a total capacity of over 100 million tons/year of low-sulfur and pig iron-free slag have been built and commissioned at 39 plants in China.

The study was carried out through bibliographical research and field work at the apex of the drought in the island of Maranhao between August and November of 2017, with observations during the day and night periods. Notebooks were used to describe the characteristics of the species, camera, binoculars (7x50), and the Brazilian Avifauna Field Guide (SIGRIST, 2009). The Itapiraco APA is more expressive in the bird class, with 46 species identified during the study, from the order of the Apodiformes to the Falconiformes. After the construction of the Recreation Complex in the APA, it was possible to change the habits of the birds, because with the excessive visitation, withdrawal of the vegetation cover and the increase of the noise pollution, caused in the decrease of its productivity and ability to communicate and to hunt. At no point in the project was there directed to the conservation of wild birds, making it clear that the creation of this bird only includes the human population. Keywords: APA Itapiraco; Avifauna; Imbalance.

The paper is devoted to the improvement of the modern methodological apparatus for describing and modeling the structure of architectural objects, which is focused on current trends in the design of buildings and structures with a certain degree of variability and adaptability to rapidly changing modern requirements of potential and real users and external environmental conditions (natural, man-made). In addition, the complexity and variability of the structure of architectural objects directly affect the increase in their operational characteristics, the improvement of security systems and the hierarchy of structures of spaces of different access levels. Another aspect of this problem is the creation of a scientific basis for the formation of a more flexible regulatory framework in architecture.

The nature of public perception of global environmental problems and ways to solve them becomes a paradigm for the development of civilization. The lack of resources necessary for the normal life of people has caused the development of a complex of catastrophic processes. Among them, the most important are: water, food and demographic crises, as well as the crisis of biodiversity, which consists in the widespread destruction of areas of the environment suitable for habitat of plants and animals. The real solution to these problems requires two conditions to be met. First, it is the creation of a scientific basis for the development of a global strategy for the preservation of conditions on the planet suitable for the existence of humans and other organisms. Secondly, it is the need to change the paradigm of environmental perception. The global technogenesis of the biosphere inevitably leads to a widespread transformation of natural conditions. All ecosystems are being transformed into natural and technical systems. The preservation of conditions favorable for human life and other biological species in them is possible only on the basis of the creation and inclusion in these systems of technical means that perform regulatory functions. This approach contradicts traditional ecological thinking and requires a transition to a new paradigm, which can be designated as creative.

There is a very lengthy history to the creation of the Convention for the Establishment of the Lake Victoria Fisheries Organization (LVFO).In 1971, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Council established the Committee for Inland Fisheries of Africa, with the broad mandate to assist member governments in establishing the scientific basis for regulatory and other measures for the conservation and improvement of inland fishery resources, to formulate such measures through subsidiary bodies, as required, and to make appropriate recommendations for the adoption and implementation of these measures.

There is a scientific basis on which to make decisions about clinical reading just as there is for decisions about clinical practice. Recognizing this does not make coping with the clinical literature or coping with clinical practice a less formidable challenge. It can, however, help clinicians to arrive at answers that are more likely to be valid and clinically applicable and to do so with greater efficiency. Proper utilization of the medical literature, like proper research methodology, is essential for ensuring that medical care does more good than harm. Like science in general, it "consists in the creation of simplicity out of complexity" and it rewards us with the joy of discovery.
