Abstract. The quality of health services depends on the contribution of all the professionals involved in the system, including certain groups, usually forgotten and underrated, such as the health-transport technicians (HTT). With the aim of improving this group's performance, an intervention program, focusing on the development of the workers' technical and social skills, was designed in a collective of enterprises. Information about the first stage of this program, consisting of the assessment of these workers' social skills, is offered in this study. A specific questionnaire was developed: The Health-Transport Technicians Social Skills Questionnaire (HTT-SSQ), made up of three scales (assertive, passive, and aggressive behavior). It was administered to a large sample (N = 530) from the above-mentioned association. The psychometric properties of the questionnaire were analyzed, with quite satisfactory indexes of internal consistency and factor validity, and the group's deficiencies (excess or deficit) were evaluated.

This study evaluated the internal consistency and factor structure of the Personality Inventory for DSM-5–Brief Form (PID-5-BF), and its relationship to aggression in 438 incarcerated Australian male offenders. Results provide support for the internal consistency and five-factor and bifactor structure of the PID-5-BF. The PID-5-BF total score, as well as the domains of Antagonism, Disinhibition, and Negative Affect (low), demonstrated significant relationships with aggression. These results provide preliminary support for the psychometric properties of the PID-5-BF within prison settings, and suggest that a PID-5-BF assessment may be useful within forensic settings to screen for broad maladaptive personality characteristics that are indicative of a greater propensity for aggressive behavior.

Background.The Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI) is a widely used self-report measure of anxiety symptoms in older adults. Much research has been conducted on the psychometric properties of the GAI in various populations and using different language versions. Previous reviews of this literature have examined only a small proportion of studies in light of the body of research currently available and have not evaluated the methodological quality of this research. We conducted a systematic review of the psychometric properties of the GAI.Method.Relevant studies (N = 30) were retrieved through a search of electronic databases (Pubmed, PsycINFO, CINAHL, EMBASE and Google Scholar) and a hand search. The methodological quality of the included studies was assessed by two independent reviewers using the ‘‘COnsensusbased Standards for the selection of health status Measurement INstruments’’ (COSMIN) checklist.Results.Based on the COSMIN checklist, internal consistency and test reliability were mostly rated as poorly assessed (62.1% and 70% of studies, respectively) and quality of studies examining structural validity was mostly fair (60% of studies). The GAI showed adequate internal consistency and test-retest reliability. Convergent validity indices were highest with measures of generalized anxiety and lowest with instruments that include somatic symptoms. A substantial overlap with measures of depression was reported. While there was no consensus on the factorial structure of the GAI, several studies found it to be unidimensional.Conclusions.The GAI presents satisfactory psychometric properties. However, future efforts should aim to achieve a higher degree of methodological quality.

<p class="BodyCxSpFirst">Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sangat penting bagi rumah sakit, karena berpengaruh pula terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang secara manual diubah menjadi digital dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi.Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metodologi <em>Nine step</em> sebagai acuan dalam merancang suatu <em>data warehouse</em><em>,</em> untuk pemodelan menggunakan skema konstelasi fakta dengan 3 tabel fakta dan 11 tabel dimensi. Perbedaan penelitian ini dengan penelitian sebelumnya terletak pada sumber data yang diekstrak langsung dari <em>database</em> SIMRS yang digunakan rumah sakit, sehingga tidak ada ekstraksi data secara manual.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain data warehouse berbasis Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) sebagai sarana penunjang kualitas pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit. OLAP yang dihasilkan akan berupa desain data warehouse dengan berbagai dimensi yang akan menghasilkan tampilan informasi berupa Chart maupun Grafik sehingga informasinya mudah dibaca dan dipahami oleh berbagai pihak.</p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"> </p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"><em><strong>Abtract</strong></em></p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"><em>The use of information technology is very important for hospitals, because it also affects the quality of health services, which manualy changed to digital using information technology. In this study, the authors used the Nine step methodology as a reference in designing a data warehouse for modeling using a fact constellation schema with 3 fact tables and 11 dimension tables. the different in this study from previous research is that the data source was taken directly from the SIMRS database used by the hospital, so there is no manual data extraction.</em><em>The aim of this research is to be able to produce a Data Warehouse design based on Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) as a means of supporting the quality of hospital health services. The resulting OLAP will be a data warehouse design with various dimensions will produce the displays information in the form of a graph or chart so that the information is easy to read and understand by various parties.</em></p><p class="BodyCxSpLast"><em> </em></p><p class="BodyCxSpFirst"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to develop and administer surveys that assess patient and caregiver experience with care transitions and examine the psychometric properties of the surveys. The surveys were designed to include the transitional care services or components of care, provided in the hospital and at home, that matter most to patients and their family caregivers, as well as their assessments of the overall quality of the transitional care they received. Methods Patients were recruited prior to discharge from 43 U.S. hospitals. The analysis dataset included responses from 9,282 patients, 1,245 Time 1 caregivers (who helped the patient in the hospital), and 1,749 Time 2 caregivers (who helped the patient at home). The psychometric properties of the survey items and composite measures were examined for each of the three surveys, including (1) item response variability and missing data, (2) exploratory factor analysis, (3) internal consistency and site-level reliability, and (4) correlations among the outcome composite measures and with other survey items. Items that performed poorly across multiple analyses were dropped from the final instruments. Results Overall, the final patient and caregiver surveys had acceptable psychometric properties, with a few exceptions. Exploratory factor analyses supported the composite measures, which had acceptable internal consistency reliability—Overall Quality of Transitional Care (patient and caregiver surveys), Patient Overall Health (patient survey) and Caregiver Effort/Stress (caregiver surveys). All surveys had acceptable site-level reliability except when the sample sizes needed to achieve 0.70 site-level reliability were higher than the actual sample sizes in the dataset. In all surveys, the Overall Quality of Transitional Care composite measure was significantly correlated with other composite measures and most of the survey items. Conclusions The final patient, T1 caregiver, and T2 caregiver surveys are psychometrically sounds and can be used by health systems, hospitals, and researchers to assess patient and caregiver experience with care transitions. Results from these surveys can be used as the basis for making improvements to transitional care delivery that are centered on what matters most to patients and their family caregivers.
