This paper The search paper aimed at introducing new development in decision-making and problem-solving models which will enable the decision-makers to have more options on the way of handling any give scenarios that might occur in the process of daily life or organizational activities, this will improve fast decision by individual or organization. Decision making is an acceptable part of human daily life. People have to make different important decisions nearly every day, hence the reason that often-making decisions can be a difficult action to take. However, a significant number of observational studies have shown that most individuals are much worse in decision-making in organizations. Thus, people started paying more attention to learning how to make an acceptable decision through the related hypotheses and models that fit their scenarios. Along with the line hundred (100) sample of the design developed model with a Likert-Scale from 1-5 was attached and sent to some prominent leaders who virtually make a decision and solved problems almost every day, for their assessment’s/analysis in order to collect data to determine both input and output of the developed model which some accepted as it was designed while some make changes and other make a recommendation for future research work. The decision-making tools are needed at the critical time of Covid.

Science is a field of study that is closely related to daily life. However, students are less skilled and have difficulty connecting science concepts with problem-solving in their environment. This article is a Define phase that aims to describe how to apply life skills and understand, feel, and trace from the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara on integrated science-based digital worksheets in science learning. Data collection techniques using documentation that is from the study of literature about integrated science, lifeskill and the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara. Integrated science-based digital worksheets that are developed by applying life skills and ngerti, ngrasa, nglakoni can be displayed with a variety of innovative learning models. Application of the steps of the model will be able to bring up the type of life skills that are developed and also develop tringo in the learning activities of students.

This chapter is based on the assumptions, methodologies, and results of two intermunicipal entrepreneurship education projects carried out in Portugal, specifically in Dão Lafões and Baixo Alentejo regions. It analyzes and demonstrates how, in formal and/or non-formal educational contexts, developing work methodologies that promote entrepreneurship consolidate competencies of creativity, proactivity, group work, planning, division of tasks, focus on problem solving, which are fundamental to full and active citizenship. The projects undertaken, supported on learning by doing methodology involved different agents of the communities beyond the schools, are and/or have been valuable contributions to the formation of more autonomous and proactive citizens with a democratic, pluralistic, critical, and creative spirit. Entrepreneurship is a competence for life. Taking initiative, mobilizing others, and getting them on board with ideas and/or solutions to problems are useful skills for daily life in our society and contribute to the sustainability of our common world.

<p>This study aims to investigate the ability of pre-service class teacher at University of Petrain solving mathematical problems using Polya’s Techniques, their level of problem solving skills in daily-life issues. The study also investigates the correlation between their ability to solve mathematical problems and their level of problem solving skills in daily-life issues. The study sample consisted of 65 female students majoring in class teacher. Data were collected using two questionnaires: the mathematical problem solving test which was developed by the researchers and daily life problem solving scale which was developed by (Hamdi, 1998). The findings indicate that students had high level skills in solving daily problems; there are no statistically significant differences in daily problem solving in relation to their academic year or high-school stream. Conversely, the findings also indicate weaknesses in students’ skills in solving mathematical problems, with no statistically significant differences among students in solving mathematical problems according to Polya’s problem solving steps. However, there were statistically significant differences in students’ performance in solving mathematical problems in relation to the mathematical topic, and in favor of measurements and algebra; in addition to statistically significant differences in students’ ability to solve mathematical problems in relation to academic year and high-school stream, but no correlation between students’ abilities in solving mathematical problems and those in solving daily problems.</p>

Computational Thinking is a skill that guides the 21th century individual in the problems experienced during daily life and it has an ever-increasing significance. Multifarious definitions were attempted to explain the concept of Computational Thinking. However, it was determined that there was no consensus on this matter in the literature and several different concepts were mentioned in the definitions found in the literature. It was considered that this fact made it difficult to understand the concept of Computational Thinking. To establish a more comprehensive approach, the present study aimed to identify the concepts that are included in the Computational Thinking definitions that were presented in previous studies. It also aimed to reveal trends in the identified concepts throughout the years. As a result of the search, a total of 59 definitions were identified and a content analysis was conducted on these definitions. Analysis results demonstrated that Computational Thinking was defined based on several concepts such as problem solving, technology, thinking, individual and social qualities. Furthermore, it was determined that statements on thinking were prominent before 2006, and today, emphasis on problem solving and technology became more significant. It was considered that the present study would contribute to a better understanding of the Computational Thinking concept. At the end of the study, certain suggestions were presented for further research.
