Two different types of nanoparticles (silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide) were selected within this study in order to analyze the interaction with bovine and human serum albumin. These particles were characterized by transmission and scanning electron microscopy (TEM and SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). In addition, the hydrodynamic size and the zeta potential were measured for all these nanoparticles. The serum proteins were incubated with the nanoparticles for up to one hour, and the albumin adsorption on the particle surface was investigated by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The effect induced on the secondary structure of proteins was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results showed that albumin adsorbed on the surface of both types of nanoparticles, but in different quantities. In addition, we noticed different changes in the structure of albumin depending on the physicochemical properties of each type of particle tested. In conclusion, our study provides a comparative analysis between the different characteristics of nanoparticles and the protein corona formed on the particle surface and effects induced on protein structure in order to direct the development of “safe-by-design” nanoparticles, as their demands for research and applications continue to increase.

According to the characteristics of the quasi zero stiffness (QZS) system, a dynamics approximation model is established. The effect of excitation force amplitude, frequency and stiffness on the dynamic characteristics of the system is studied by continuation algorithm. The global bifurcation diagram with a wide range of parameters is achieved by using Poincaré mapping method. Results show that when the exciting force amplitude increases to a certain extent, the system will come into multi-cycle and chaos motion state. When exciting force frequency is lower, the system dynamic behavior is complicated, which is helpful for the engineering optimization design.

Sorption experiments of bovine serum albumin (BSA) on hydroxyapatite (HAp) ceramic granules, prepared at three temperatures 900°C, 1000°C and 1150°C were performed at room temperature 18,6 °C and phosphate buffer, pH 5,83; 6.38 and 7,39. Thermal treatment contributed to the decrease of bovine serum albumin immobilization indicating that sorption process depended on HAp ceramics specific surface area and pH values of phosphate buffer solution. However, it was confirmed that granule size was also an important parameter for bovine serum albumin adsorption. As a result of these experiments, the most appropriate adsorption conditions and phosphate buffer pH values influence on to BSA sorption were analyzed.

A total of 669 women and 609 men were selected from a laboratory computer data base in such a way that they would be expected to have a low prevalence of disturbances of calcium homeostasis but a wide range of serum albumin concentrations. The least squares regression coefficients of total calcium on albumin did not differ between men and women, nor did they differ at different ages. Mean serum albumin-adjusted calcium concentrations did not change with age in men from 1 to 90 years, and values were similar in women aged 1–20 years. However, adjusted calcium concentrations were significantly lower in women aged 21–50 and higher in women aged 61–90 than in younger women and all men. The differences were small and are unlikely to affect clinical interpretation.

In this work, we study the current coupled to a simplified Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) model using a dual computational and experimental approach. The surrogate structure reduced the computational burden and facilitated the experimental measurement of the coupled currents. For a practical system, a wide range of simulations and measurements must be performed to analyze the induced current variations with respect to the incident excitation properties such as the frequency, angle of incidence, and polarization. To simplify this analysis, Characteristic Mode Analysis (CMA) was used to compute the eigen-currents of the UAV model and predict where and under which RF excitation conditions, the coupled current is maximized. We verified these predictions using direct experimental measurement of the coupled currents. The presented simulations and measurements show the usefulness of CMA for studying electromagnetic coupling to practical systems.

With the development in the education system, considering the latest current online exam system, a new projection of online exam system based on Raspberry pi IOT is proposed, and the key implementation techniques and methods are also described. The growing ubiquity of wireless, RFID mobile and sensor devices has provide a promising opportunity to build the powerful examination systems and applications by Internet of Things (IoT). A wide range of IoT applications have been developed in recent years. In an effort to understand the development of IoT in online examination, here we propose the current research of IoT, IOT key enabling technologies, major IoT applications in online examination and identifies research trends and challenges. Here we initially all the examine details are stored in the server. Then By applying face recognition (in Open CV based) technique, you can start the online examination. Due to sometime unwanted person also enter to wright the exam, so this is the best way to identified any culprits are found or not.
