Using PEG-10000 and sodium citrate as stabilizer, and NaBH4 as reducer, a stable nanosilvers (AgNPs) sol was prepared. In pH 6.6 phosphate buffer solution containing NaCl, the AgNPs were aggregated to large particles, which lead to resonance Rayleigh scattering (RRS) peak at 350 nm enhancement. Upon addition of cysteine, the peak decreased. The decreased value ΔI is linear to cysteine concentration in the range of 5-60×10-8 mol/L. Thus, a new RRS method was proposed for detection of cysteine.

A simple strategy for determination of hydroxylamine based on Fe3O4 nanoparticles functionnalized by [2-(4-((3-(trimethoxysilyl)propylthio)methyl)1-H1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)aceticacid] (FNPs) and graphene oxide (GO) modified screen-printed electrode (SPE), denoted as (Fe3O4 FNPs/GO/SPE), is reported. The electrochemical behavior of hydroxylamine was investigated at Fe3O4FNPs/GO/SPE by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and chronoamperometry (CHA) techniques in phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.0). Fe3O4 FNPs/GO/SPE as a novel electrochemical sensor exhibited catalytic activity toward the oxidation of hydroxylamine. The potential of hydroxylamine oxidation was shifted to more negative potentials, and its oxidation peak current increased on the modified electrode, also indicating that under these conditions, the electrochemical process is irreversible. The electrocatalytic current of hydroxylamine showed a good relationship in the concentration range of 0.05–700.0 μM, with a detection limit of 10.0 nM. The proposed electrode was applied for the determination of hydroxylamine in water samples, too.

Characteristics of absorption of activated carbon on methylene blue were studied. It was demonstrated that adsorption of activated carbon on methylene blue was very stable on monomolecular adsorption and when multimolecular adsorption existed adsorption became to be weak. An improved method was suggested that many samples were tested adsorption of activated carbon on methylene blue in parallel experiment and certain sample was selected to use in next experiment, its color should approximate to the color of 0.4% CuSO4 but darker slightly and activated carbon loaded methylene blue was added some fresh phosphate buffer solution to desorb methylene blue on the activated carbon, testing absorption value total concentration of methylene blue in the solutionin (merging the first and second experiment) by spectrophotometer, calculating adsorption value on difference method which original volume of methylene blue added subtracts rest of methylene blue in the solution after adsorption. The new method was simple, rapid and easy. word times would shorten obviously.

Simple, rapid and accurate, spectrophotometric method for the determination of losartan potassium by using bromothymol blue as a chromogen and phosphate buffer solution (pH 3-4) as a diluting agent was developed. The developed colour shows maximum absorbance at 620 nm and it was observed that the absorbance of different dilution from the plots the calibration curve between the concentrations in x-axis, absorbance at y-axis. The recovery studies were also carried out to ensure the reproducibility and repeatability. This recovery studies shows between 96.82-100.08% for the different formulation. Hence, it was concluded that the developed simple, precise and accurate method can be effectively used for the routine analysis of losartan potassium
