The variants of structural and functional schemes of biogas plants (BP) were investigated to obtain biogas and fertilizers based on the processing of solid organic waste in the agro-industrial complex (AIC). Based on the results of the study of biogas technologies, criteria are proposed for determining the best layout from the expert’s point of view. The systematization of options is given and alternatives are obtained. The method of multicriteria analysis of options based on fuzzy sets was used as a decision-making method. The use of the decision support system to select the best variant of the structural and functional scheme of the biogas plant predetermined the formation of a matrix of paired comparisons of dimension 5x5. To ensure high consistency of preferences associated with the procedure for filling in the matrices of paired comparisons of alternatives according to criteria, the method developed by us has been applied. This reduces the number of inquiries to the decision-maker. The selected structural and functional scheme meets the requirements for the development of typical automation solutions, which contributes to the replication of control systems for the same type of plants.

Vocational schools that have been licensed from BNSP to LSP P1 (first party professional certification institute) are schools that have been able to carry out their own competency certification exams for their students and later a competency assessor who will test and declare the eligibility of the students, competency assessors are productive teachers who have participated in and been given training by the government, in that training the schools choose from the number of productive teachers from each department to become competency assessor trainees in accordance with predetermined criteria so a decision support system is needed so there is no gap in the selection of productive teacher assessor training participants, a vocational school that has become a P1 LSP must have a competency assessor and is a requirement to be a P1 LSP. one of the solutions to the problem is the right one by using the Decision Support System (SPK). Decision Support System (DSS) can help the school in making the decision to choose the productive teacher of the appropriate assessor training and improve the efficiency of the decision. The Extended Promethee II (EXPROM II) is a development of the Promethee II method based on the ideal and anti-ideal solution. Promethee II itself is a method of making decisions on the function of preferences with problems through an outranking approach (ranking) or is a multicriteria analysis, comparing one alternative to another and calculating the alternative gap in pairs so as to produce an output that is alternative ranking based on the highest value. Keywords: Competitive Assessor LSP P1, SPK, The Extended Promethee II

In the present study, the authors propose a group decision support system (Web-GDSS), which allows multi-agents systems and multicriteria analysis systems to help decision-makers in order to obtain a collective decision, using web services. The proposed system operates on two main stages. First, decision-makers are in a different location away from each other. They must store their location in databases and invoke the appropriate web service. Second, in the case of negotiation between decision-makers, monotonic concession protocol will lead to an agreement using CONDORCET and BORDA voting methods.

In a group decision support system, the various decision-makers have their own information, constrains, decision strategies, preferences, and objectives which are generally not shared or communicated. This implies that the group decision process is distributed between the different entities implicated and impacted by various group members' characteristics. Solution to this problem is to find a decision that would be acceptable to all the decision-makers, following the necessity of a negotiation process that allows the elaboration of a common agreement for a group that faces a conflict on the decision to take. In the current study, the authors propose to establish a communication platform for a group decision support system (GDSS) based on web services, incorporating a multicriteria analysis methods and a negotiation protocol.

Abstract A decision support system with damage stability analysis has been recognized as an important tool for passenger ships. Various software applications have been developed and taken into use over the years, without a direct link to any compelling requirement, set forth in the international regulatory framework. After the Costa Concordia accident, new regulations have been established, setting minimum requirements for a decision support system, as an extension to a loading computer. Yet, more advanced systems have been developed recently, aiming at providing valuable additional information on the predicted development of the stability of the damaged ship. This paper presents these alternative decision support systems with damage stability analysis methods for flooding emergencies on passenger ships. The technical background, usability, and usefulness of the various approaches are compared and discussed, taking into account the important statutory approval point of view. In addition, practical examples, including past accidents, are presented and discussed.

The need to effectively integrate decision‐making tasks (such as interactive access to data and support for numerical and quantitative modelling techniques) together with the knowledge representation and visualisation tasks and inference procedures that model an expert's thought process has provoked research efforts to integrate decision support systems (DSS) with knowledge and expert systems (ES), neural networks and multimedia towards the formulation of intelligent DSS. We can analyse the intelligent DSS as a network of distributed systems (DSS, ES, neural networks, etc.) each of them facing and solving a specific problem. Under this point of view different systems can be integrated in the integrated system. Knowledge based decision support system for building refurbishment developed in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University is described in the paper in order to describe the above systems integration.

The goal of this chapter is to describe a set of concepts for the design of information systems supporting the global decision process in an organization from a management point of view. Managers are responsible for decisions that are crucial for the success of the organization. Supporting decision taking by management in an integrated way means to support the global decision process of the organization and increase its efficiency and resilience. The system is envisaged so that i) each manager has available a decision dashboard to support the flux of decision-making for which he or she is responsible; ii) the dashboards also allow managers to crowdsource from non-managers different aspects of decision iii) the dashboards are connected in a conversational network; iv) this conversational network is so structured to support the global decision process of the organization.
