Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak melalui e-learning flipped classroom. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah penelitian yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, analisis dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Dosenan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Dosenan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara pada tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada matakuliah  Pengembangan Bahan Ajar dengan jumlah mahasiswa 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada  penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif. Alat pengumpulan data kuantitatif ini menggunakan instrumen materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak dengan menggunakan pilihan berganda yang diberikan secara online, sementara pada data kualitatif menggunakan hasil observasi kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak di kelas e-learning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak dengan menggunakan e-learning flipped classroom. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Mahasiswa, Bahan Ajar Non Cetak, E-Learning Classroom  Abstract: This study aims to improve students' abilities in designing non-print teaching materials through e-learning flipped classrooms. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by following the research steps, namely: planning, implementing, observing, analyzing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students in the fifth semester of the Pancasila and Citizenship Lecturer Study Program, the Teaching and Lecturer Faculty of the Islamic University of North Sumatra in the 2020/2021 school year. The implementation of this classroom action research was carried out in the course of Teaching Material Development with a total of 17 students. Data collection techniques in this study using quantitative data. This quantitative data collection tool uses non-printed teaching material development materials instruments using multiple choices provided online, while the qualitative data uses observations of students' abilities in designing non-print teaching material development materials in e-learning classes. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the ability of students in designing non-print teaching materials development materials using e-learning flipped classrooms. Keywords: Student Activity, Non-Printed Teaching Materials, E-Learning Flipped Classroom

Abstract Objectives Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Medicine’s aim is to implement a novel and effective system called “Next Generation Medical Education”. This system is designed to provide us a modernized medical education which covers the students’ requirements. This study is designed to investigate different aspects of this educational system from the student’s perspective. Methods Main characteristic features of the educational system was determined and a survey as well as phone interviews have been conducted in order to determine the views of the students of the faculty regarding these aspects. Results The survey and the phone interview results showed that the students are mostly satisfied with current system and all of its components. Conclusions We have determined the key aspects of the system as: integrated curriculum, learning to learn, advisorship, e-learning and feedback mechanisms. We believe that the next generation education system adopted by our faculty is a way of transforming medical education in order to train qualified physicians for tomorrow.

This chapter will highlight how practitioners use trans-disciplinary approaches to conduct Action Research (AR) in the context of e-schools, Community Engagement (CE) and Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D). The objectives provide details on how: AR is used to align e-education with life-enhancing values and in situations dealing with partnerships towards CE and/or ICT4D matters at local, national and international levels; to promote e-learning and development among those previously excluded from formal education; AR is contributing to transformation and equity in the context of e-schools, CE and ICT4D; AR CE is contributing to improving the quality of life for all; changes and/or growth in the way in which AR is utilized and interpreted can be explored when such questions are raised; AR can stay relevant in light of the ever-increasing speed of change in terms of technological innovations; and examples of ground-breaking AR work can thus be achieved.

Participatory action research (PAR) has been used as a methodology for social intervention that combines research enquiry and action in the analysis of and intervention in complex social problems. However, a better systematization of complex social research processes is required to enable reflexivity at a participatory level and second-order observation of the full research system constructed. This article proposes a PAR model using conceptual and methodological elements of sociocybernetics, which is the application of first- and second-order cybernetics and general systems theory to social sciences. The authors see this model as able to reinforce the systematization of PAR, enabling a second-order reflexivity and feedback process through information analysis and communication strategies. The first part of the article explains how sociocybernetics concepts can contribute to this sociological methodology and discusses points of similarity between the two approaches and the basis of the proposed model. The second part addresses an empirical case of PAR developed in the context of the High Atlas in Morocco using the proposed model. By reinforcing a systems perspective, internal and external elements of the research system can be defined better to understand its relevance to optimal fulfilment of the research purpose. The value that sociocybernetics adds may be the comprehension of processes of change through the assimilation, accommodation and adaptation of the components and limits of the system, the feedback process and other interactions within the system and its environment, in order to analyse how social changes occur in complex settings.
