The safety assessment method based on probabilistic fracture mechanics (PFM) is well applied to pressure vessel and piping. The PFM analysis is more reasonable and reliable than determinate fracture mechanics (DFM) method. In PFM analysis, the uncertainty of main assessment parameters, such as loads, material character parameters, structure dimension and defect sizes are considered to be random, and the probabilistic distribution of these parameters are determined with the theory of probability statistics. Related to the practical engineering of China experimental fast reactor (CEFR), this paper has done some research work on the parameters probabilistic distribution, and a method was given to determine the optimum fitting probabilistic distribution function of parameters applied to PFM analysis for piping in the small sample size. The work of this paper makes the foundation of the further probabilistic safety assessment of CEFR piping.

There are several factors that affect heat transfer of heat pipe, for example, structure dimension, filling ratio and vacuum degree of charging. This paper studied the thermal conductivity of micro flat heat pipes (MFHPs) with different structure dimension and with different filling ratio, when the charging vacuum degree of MFHP was decided. When electric power was 2W or 4W, MFHPs with parallel grooves and nonparallel grooves, charged by working fluid with different filling ratio, were carried out. And the filling ratio is 30%, 40% and 50%, respectively. The better thermal performance of MFHP can be evaluated by lower thermal resistance and higher effective thermal conductivity. The experiment results show that MFHP has the highest effective thermal conductivity when the filling ratio is 40%; and the thermal performance of MFHP with nonparallel structure in axial direction is better than that of MFHP with parallel structure.

The problem considered in the paper is the structure design and modal analysis of Mecha in HD-NVD player. Regarding general DVD player, the influence on pickup from structure designs of spindle motor and base, assembly accuracy etc. have already been solved. But for HD-NVD player, as the speed of spindle motor working in the range from 3000 to 7000 r/m, so the these influence on pickup above correlative element have to be solved by complicated analysis. Through using ALGOR to design and analyze Mecha, obtained the structure dimension of base and modal characteristic, found its material property effecting greatly on the vibration of Mecha. With the increase of material rigidity in the base and motor stator, the system rigidity increases, then the vibration of system decreases. The result indicates that the Mecha designed and analyzed by ALGOR can meet the operating demand of HD-NVD player.

This study was done with the purpose of clarifying the concept of patient perceived quality of nursing care in hemodialysis. In this meta-synthesis study, qualitative studies was searched in the four interntional databases from January 1st, 2000 to December 30th, 2019. The keywords used were: nursing care quality, and hemodialysis. Studies which had been done with the purpose of understanding the patient perceived quality of nursing care concept aomg hemodialysis patients were included. Two researchers were evaluate the quality of included studies separately using JBI tool, required information were extracted using the designed table. The main themes in the structure dimension include Sufficient Human resource, quality of equipment, financial support from patient and quality of the patient care environment. Process dimension consisted of continuous monitoring of the syndromes, effective patient education, efficient care, effective therapeutic relationship, and patient’s empowerment and participation in the process, and in the outcome dimension included high dialysis adequecy, patient burnout reduction, and increased patient satisfaction from services. The results of the study indicated a comprehensive, deep and interactive dimensions about the concept of nursing quality of care.

PurposeThis study aims to identify the relationship between protean career attitude (PCA) and organisational commitment (OC) in a learning organisation (LO) climate. The study also identified whether negative relationships exist between the structure dimension of LO (SDLO) and PCA, and between PCA and OC, and whether such relationships can be moderated by the people dimension of LO (PDLO).Design/methodology/approachData collected from 305 employees of 26 firms were analysed using the PROCESS macro for SPSS.FindingsThis study found that SDLO had a negative relationship with PCA, whereas PCA was negatively associated with OC. Furthermore, this study found that PDLO moderated these relationships, in that the negative relationships were absent when PDLO activities were stronger, in contrast to when they were weaker.Originality/valueThe study is among the first to identify the negative relationships that exist between SDLO and PCA and between PCA and OC in Korean firms. An important implication for managers or OD professionals is that PDLO plays an important role in not only reducing the negative mediation effects of PCA in the relationships but also making the relationships positive.

Based on modular design rules proposed by IBM, modular design process was planned, which included product overall structure analysis and interface standardized design. Based on module partition, undirected graph was used to represent the relationship between the modules and the product's overall structure. By analyzing the interaction between modules deeply, the structure, dimension and parameter of the interface were standardized in order to determine the standard interface of each module. Brittle materials processing equipment was used to demonstrate the modular design process.
