Call center is the frontline of communicating with customers. This paper reports the findings of a survey on service effectiveness of call center operations of mobile communication service providers in Turkey that either use in-house or outsourcing method. The primary objective of this paper is to explore how the customers of mobile communications service provider companies perceive the inbound call center processes for speed, easiness of use, first call resolution, effective inquiry and in doing that what qualities they display. For this purpose a survey was conducted with the customers who use call centers either to make an inquiry or to complain about the services. The aims were: to specify the typical behavior of mobile communications service users; how the firms handle inquiries or complaints; if they solve the problems for good and in what time or how long it takes to get an answer practically useful; to reveal the speed and timeliness of the processes. The survey was conducted with the mobile phone users in a highly populated area of Istanbul.

The Global Systems for Mobile Communication(GSM) is really the most boundless versatile Communication innovation existing these days. Its acquaintance goes back to the last part of the eighties, it experiences a few security weaknesses, which have been focused by numerous attacks intended to break the fundamental correspondence convention. A large portion of these attacks related to the A5/1 algorithm used to ensure overthe-air correspondence between the two gatherings of a call. Notwithstanding, it is as yet being used in the GSM networks as a fall-back alternative, in this manner actually putting at hazard the security of the GSM. This standard provides worldwide roaming & Interconnection with any available GSM network including the ones implemented in IOT so that users need to be aware of the possible security issues. The goal of this work is to survey the absolute most applicable outcomes in this field and examine their reasonable possibility

In this paper, the design aspects of an embedded device which can control up to 8 devices by sending a specific SMS message from a mobile phone are presented. This controller is extremely handy at places where we have to control the ON and OFF switching of the devices but no wired connection to that place is available. To implement this, a GSM modem is connected to a programmed microcontroller which would receive the SMS from a reference cell phone. The control signal part of the received SMS is extracted and is changed to microcontroller-preferred format. A PC which is connected to the microcontroller using a serial communication through RS232 can be used for monitoring and transmission of the control signals to the modem. The monitoring is also done by interfacing a LCD to the microcontroller. AT commands were used for controlling the functionality of modem’s (Global Systems for Mobile Communication) is vastly used because of its simplicity in both transmitter and receiver design, can operate at 900 or 1800MHZ band, faster, more reliable and globally network. Here the system is capable of controlling the motor by receiving control message from an authorized mobile number. Microcontroller is the heart of our system, which controls the overall operation of our system. System is always alert for receiving SMS from valid number and that message can be displayed on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). In the project work undertaken, GSM technology based automatic control system is designed to monitor and control speed of an Induction motor/DC motor and also performs necessary operation like start, stop, reverse the rotation ext.
