Abstract The digital portfolio is a student-student, student-teacher interaction tool where formative assessment plays an important role in the learning of physics, with which the progress of students is monitored, the entire training process is evaluated and supported of the student, according to the planning and contents of the physics course. Therefore, this article describes the use of the digital portfolio as a tool for learning in students of a teacher training program in natural sciences and environmental education at a public university in Colombia. It is a quantitative study with a non-experimental design. The research subjects were students taking the subject of basic physics. The results indicate that students perceive the portfolio as a tool that allows monitoring and reflection of their learning and favor the integration of what they have learned, which supports the use of this tool, in accordance with the results of evaluation of the students’ formative process. However, the use of the portfolio requires a continuous process of change and innovation, monitoring and permanent feedback between the teacher and the students.

The blended learning model is a learning that uses online facilities combined with face-to-face learning (synchronous learning-asynchronous learning). The purpose of this research is to develop online learning that can be used by two PGRI universities in Indonesia as an online learning media. This research applies research and development method 4D Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. The result of this study is an online learning system that can be used by Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang and Universitas PGRI Madiun in Basic Physics course. This system uses the MOODLE (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment), therefore it has the advantage that it is easy to use by all lecturers.

Abstract This study was aimed at obtaining factual information on 1) the assessment of Basic Physics course learning achievement of Physics Education students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung that includes process and product assessment and 2) the results of the implementation of assessment on student performance during the practicum component of the course. The study employed Elliot’s Model of Action Research Study, which is a mixed method in nature. It focused on improving instructional condition as the responsibility of the respective lecturer to make it more responsive to the existing needs .Indeed, it requires commitment of all parties involved in the instructional process to participate and collaborate for improved learning achievement, particularly of the Basic Physics course, to be obtained. In conclusion, based on the process and findings of the action research study, the implementation of performance assessment has significantly improved student learning achievement in the Basic Physics course.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendpatkan informasi faktual mengenai 1) penilaian hasil belajar Fisika Dasar Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Raden Intan Lampung yang meliputi penilaian proses dan kinerja, dan 2) hasil implementasi penilaian prestasi mahasiswa selama praktikum. Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Model Elliot, yang merupakan metode campuran. Penelitian fokus kepada peningkatan kondisi pembelajaran sebagai tanggungjawab dosen yang bersangkutan untuk membuatnya lebih responsif dengan kebutuhan yang ada. Tentunya, hal ini membutuhkan komitmen dari seluruh pihak terkait dalam proses pembelajaran untuk berpartisipasi dan berkolaborasi untuk peningkatan hasil pembelajaran, khususnya mata kuliah Fisika Dasar. Dapat disimpulkan, berdasarkan proses dan temuan penelitian tindakan kelas, penerapan penilaian kinerja secara signifikan meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Dasar. <p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract: </strong>Understanding concepts on the momentum material owned by students is vary. Some students have understood the concept in accordance with scientific truth, but some are not yet. Constraints experienced by students in understanding the concept can lead to misconception. This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of student concepts on the momentum material by using qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research are 33 students of Physics Education of Sebelas Maret University who have not received Basic Physics course. Data were collected by tests and interviews. The results showed that 77.27% of students experienced misconceptions on the transfer of energy of mutually colliding objects. Momentum and impulse materials have been taught in the XI Senior High School, though most students have not understood the concept as a whole.</p><p class="KeywordsEngish"> </p><p class="AbstrakIndonesia"><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Pemahaman konsep pada materi momentum yang dimiliki mahasiswa berbeda-beda. Sebagian mahasiswa sudah memahami konsep sesuai dengan kebenaran ilmiah, namun ada juga yang belum. Kendala yang dialami mahasiswa dalam pemahaman konsep tersebut dapat menimbulkan terjadinya miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada materi momentum dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah 33 mahasiswa Semester 1 Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sebelas Maret yang belum menerima mata kuliah Fisika Dasar. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 77,27% mahasiswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada transfer energi benda yang saling bertumbukan. Materi momentum dan impuls sudah diajarkan di kelas XI SMA, meskipun demikian sebagian besar mahasiswa belum memahami konsep secara keseluruhan.</p>

Modeling technique is one of physics instructional technique required by physics student teacher in order to understand and apply various concept, principle, and law of physics. The importance of modeling technique in physics instructional has moved the research team to apply the physics modeling technique in the setting of learner autonomy based instructional. This study used one group pretest and posttest design. Subject of this study was the physics education study program student of FKIP ULM who recourse basic physics course in the academic year of 2016/2017. The instrument used in this study was the student achievement test. The data was analyzed in a descriptive-qualitative way and also quantitatively depends on the nature of the data. Result of the study showed that the implementation of physics modeling technique in the setting of learner autonomy based learning was effective to improve students’ basic competence knowledge with the gain score of 0.68, which is in medium category.

<p><em><span><strong>Abstract: </strong>This study aims to determine the critical thinking skills possessed by students. The Subject of this research were 131 students of physics education program from Bengkulu University and Indraprasta University. Subjects consist of 4<sup>th</sup> semester (56 students) and 6<sup>th</sup> semester (75 students) who have received the Basic Physics course previously. Instrument of this research using test concept. Based on the results of a survey conducted that students' critical thinking skills are still very low on business work- energy. This survey research will be the main basis for researchers to conduct further research with the same research location.</span></em></p><p><em><span><br /></span></em></p><p><em></em><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 131 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari semester 4 (56 siswa) dan semester 6 (75 siswa) yang telah menerima materi Fisika Dasar sebelumnya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes. Berdasarkan hasil survei yang dilakukan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa masih sangat rendah pada materi usaha dan energi. Penelitian survei ini akan menjadi dasar utama bagi peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan lokasi penelitian yang sama.</p>
