<p>Since the building of electrical facilities became more common, people paid more attention to the quality and safety of electric equipment, which led to a stricter requirement for building electrical installation. The installation of electrical engineering is closely related to the quality of the building itself, if too much carelessness is seen during the process of building the electrical facility, it would be prone to some quality problems and hence cannot ensure the safety of the user's life. This study will expound the cause and prevention measures of common faults in building electric installation engineering through common fault analysis of building electrical installation. Therefore, it is of great significance to pay special attention to the quality management of electrical installation engineering and develop electrical installation engineering by applicability, reliability, economy, beautiful appearance and convenience.</p>

Based from observation of the learning process of the Domestic Electrical Installation Practice of vocational students of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University shows that the learning process is not optimal because of practical learning unchallenged students to be creative in planning and implementing Domestic Electrical Installation Practices. The research objective is to develop a project-based practice module that can improve student learning outcomes in the learning process of the Domestic Electrical Installation Practice. Research with Four-D design is applied to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of project-based practice modules in learning domestic electrical installation practices. The stages of the research include defining, designing, developing, and distributing. The results of testing the validity of project-based practices indicate that the learning media is valid. These aspects are material, media aspects, and language aspects. Indicates that the project-based practice module is valid to apply in the learning process of Domestic Electrical Installation Practices. The result the data analysis shows that the practice module developed in the Domestic Electrical Installation Practice learning process is valid, it can be concluded that the project-based practice module is valid for use in the learning process Domestic Electrical Installation for Electrical Engineering Study Program students

This study aims at 1) developing electrical installation learning media and a video tutorial on how to install the media in Basics of Installation course in the Electrical Engineering Education Program Study; 2) determining the level of feasibility of electrical installation learning media; 3) determining the response of students after using electrical installation learning media. The method applied in this study was R&D (Research and Development). The result of validation test by material expert obtained the percentage of 100% with very decent qualification. Meanwhile, the result of validation test by media expert obtained 99.31% with very decent qualification as well. Then, the result of the small group test obtained the percentage of 88.60% with very good qualification and the result of large group test obtained 96.40% with very good qualification too. Based on the results of the study, the electrical installation learning media was suitable to be used in conducting the learning process on Basics of Installation course in Electrical Engineering Education Program Study at Ganesha University of Education.

To apply automation in electrical engineering is to use a series of devices with functions of automatic detection and control to realize the real-time or remote control, management, and monitoring of the original electrical system. Therefore, the electrical automation technology has broad development space in the construction of electrical engineering, and it is worth of application and study for relevant electrical installation engineering and scientific research departments. In the actual production process, it is necessary to optimize the production mode, reduce the cost, and keep the good working performance of electrical equipment. Based on this, this article briefly analyzes the application of electrical automation in electrical engineering, hoping to provide an effective reference.

Customer PT. PLN (Persero) has been getting prepaid and postpaid electric service programs, on postpaid electricity PT. PLN is still using conventional ways to monitor the electricity consumption of its customers. PLN officers must record meters, calculate and publish accounts to be paid by customers. In this study using electrical energy monitoring system using SMS that can measure and monitor the use of electrical energy in real time, using the method of direct measurement. Results from the current sensor readings and voltage sensors will be forwarded to the microcontroller to be converted into the amount of electrical energy consumption and the amount of payment in accordance with tariffs that have been determined PLN. The research was conducted in Basic Laboratory of Electrical Engineering, Laboratory of Energy Conversion, Laboratory of Workshop & Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.
