Abstract The fault characteristic signal energy for early gear tooth breakage is relatively weak and easily drowned by other signals, which is not conducive to the study of the fault development stage. A multi-order modulated sideband RMS (Root Mean Square) trend analysis method is proposed to analyse the development trend of the broken gear fault characteristics. By using this method to analyse gear breakage faults, the multi-order modulated sideband RMS trend analysis method can effectively determine the fault deterioration and fault stabilisation stages.

As a new industry, cold chain logistics has attracted much attention. Under the strong support of national policies, the development of cold chain logistics has entered the fast lane. This study takes the energy consumption of cold chain logistics as the research object, uses the the energy consumption benchmark evaluation model of regression analysis to present the current situation of energy consumption of cold chain logistics from different dimensions, puts forward the contradictions and problems existing in the current development based on the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis method. Finally, the development trend of cold chain logistics energy consumption is predicted and relevant suggestions are put forward. The purpose of this paper is to find out the rule of effect of each factor on energy consumption in cold chain logistics, and to provide the direction for energy-saving measures in production.

The core purpose of this paper was to analyze the trend analysis of Pakistan railways from the year 1950 to 2015, using the principal component analysis method and industrial life cycle theory. Industrial life cycle theory, the development trend analysis of Pakistan railway industry, entails four stages: introduction, growth, maturity, and decline. The results indicated that railway industry in Pakistan was at its pinnacle in the middle of the seventies and thereafter the decline of railway industry was observed. The main reasons behind the decline were underinvestment, political interference, and the rise of the same-sector competitor, the National Logistics Cell (NLC). From the year 2011, it experienced an upward trend of combined utility curve and showed a new round of industry life cycle. To revive its previous glory, the current government has proposed a development document for Pakistan railways, Vision 2025. It is envisaged that railways share in transportation will be increased from current 4% to 20% by the year 2025, which seems to be an onerous challenge for the organization.

As an irreversible trend in nowadays manufacturing industry, digital transformation has put higher demands on enterprise’s informatization. This paper reviewed how the focus changed for enterprise informatization in the manufacturing industry during each development stage, summarized the development trend for informatization in the industry, and put forward the three focuses of enterprise informatization during digital transformation. In a new historical stage, enterprises should focus their efforts on the following aspects: integrating informatization with lean management to optimize the value system as much as possible; building an integrated management model to achieve overarching control on informatization; realizing in-depth integration of informatization and industrialization to follow a path to new industrialization.

Wavelet analysis is a kind of time-frequency analysis method, It is particularly effective to analyze signal singularity, singular point location and size of the singular degree, fault characteristic signal can be effectively separated, and it can be used to make fault analysis and diagnosis. And choosing different wavelet analysis on fault make different results. Based on the induction motor stator current for the simulation model, the paper discusses the signal with different wavelet denoising, except the singularity detection and fault diagnosis. And analyzes the importance of fault mother wavelet choicing.

Background: In VTBDs (Vision Technology-Based Devices), vision technology is utilized to acquire abundant information about the external environment and process such information to achieve certain functions. They are used in various fields to solve practical problems. Various patents have been discussed in this article, hoping to provide ideas for solving practical problems in the future. Objective: The study aimed to provide an overview of the existing VTBDs and introduce their classifications, characteristics, as well as the stage and trend of development. Methods: This paper reviews various patents, especially Chinese patents related to VTBDs. The structural characteristics, differentiation, and engineering applications of VTBDs are also introduced. Results: The existing VTBDs are analyzed and compared, and their typical characteristics are summarized. The main applications, as well as the pros and cons, in the current development stage, are summarized and analyzed, as well. In addition, the development trend of VTBDs-related patents is also discussed. Conclusion: VTBDs can be categorized into DsBMV (Devices Based on Monocular Visual), DsBBV (Devices Based on Binocular Visual), and DsBMCV (Devices Based on Multi-Camera Visual). All of these categories exhibit their own relative advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, it is of much importance to analyze the specific problems, followed by selecting appropriate machine vision technologies and reasonable mechanical structures to design VTBDs accordingly.
