Abstract This study aims to develop an android-based application to calculate the amount of fuel adjusted to the distance and speed of the ship based on the trajectory (way point). The calculation of distance in this application uses the concept of a spherical triangle which is used in voyage navigation. This development adopts the Waterfall model with the stages of Requirement Engineering, Design and implementation, Testing, Release and Maintenance. At the product review stage, it involves software experts (to provide criticism and suggestions for improvement), then testing is carried out by comparing the results of calculations using applications with manual calculations and ECDIS (electronic Chart Display Information System). The test results show that there is no significant difference between the results of calculations using the application with manual calculations and ECDIS. Thus, this application can be used to calculate the amount of fuel needed according to the distance traveled and the speed of the ship based on the selected trajectory.

Bandung Health Office as a Health Agency that always provides quality services is currently focused on handling pandemics, especially in the implementation of vaccination programs as a strategy to combat the COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, monitoring of complaints experienced by the community after vaccination is required. The problem experienced today is the unavailability of containers to accommodate and manage data on COVID-19 vaccination complaints using the information system. The purpose of this research is to design a website-based information system that supports the process of monitoring and handling COVID-19 vaccination complaints in the Bandung Health Office by presenting informative and transparent data so as to facilitate the public in reporting and obtaining complaint information easily. The system development method uses waterfall model, while the system functional design method uses object-oriented modeling approach with Unified Modelling Language (UML). Black box test results obtained a 100 percentage of system functionality success. Evaluation test results with System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire obtained the final test score of 77.6 with Acceptable category and B Grade Scale. So based on the test results, the system can run easily according to the needs of the user. This research resulted in a web-based information system that makes it easier for health workers to efficiently manage COVID-19 vaccination complaint reporting data.

AbstractThis research is about design and implementation of information systems in PT XYZ Outlet. The goal is to design and implement an information system that can manage data and inventory management in an integrated and centralized manner. In designing the information system, the Waterfall model is used which has the advantages that have been considered, one of which is conformity to the characteristics of the problems found. Inventory management problems in this study solved using the Min-Max Stock method. The application of the Min-Max Stock method is effective and can reduce inventory costs at PT XYZ. For Chicken Boneless Marinated, Beef Santori Tenderloin, and Coffee Bean items each reduce 5% or IDR 1,610,000, 7% or IDR 1,598,031,648, and 11% or IDR 2,150,000. The results of the design and implementation of this information system can assist in recording and managing inventory that is integrated and centralized.

The by-product of pepper production in Bangka Belitung is the waste of pepper skin. This waste tends to be untapped and thrown away so that it can disrupt the environmental ecosystem. One of the efforts to utilize pepper skin waste is processing it into activated carbon as the base material for supercapacitor electrodes. The initial stage of the synthesis was carried out by a pre-carbonization process on a sample of dry and clean pepper peel waste. Furthermore, the sample is chemically activated using a chemical activator and also physical activation at a temperature of 700ºC in N2 gas flow conditions. The activated carbon resulting from the activation is then molded into electrode plates in the form of pellets with a diameter of 1 cm. The electrode plates were characterized using a scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive x-ray (SEM-EDX) to determine morphology and cyclic voltammetry (CV) to determine the specific capacitance value. SEM test results show that the electrode sample has porous morphology and CV results show that the sample activated using the KOH activator has a specific capacitance value of 15.20 F/g. These results indicate that the activated carbon synthesized from the waste of pepper peel can be used as a supercapacitor electrode material and also a solution for overcoming the negative effects of pepper skin waste.

ABSTRACT:In its implementation, the academic system that runs at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh is deemed not optimal; this is because the system used is still manual. With these problems, various problems arise, especially in the assessment process, attendance, and information about student development to parents. For that, we need an information system that is able to support decision-making in obtaining information on academic activities at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. The making of this academic information system uses a Codeigniter 3 framework, while the research method used is (R & D). The model used is the 4D version by applying the waterfall model. Based on the results of the research conducted, the researcher succeeded in creating an academic information system for students at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. The results of the validity test conducted by a computer expert on this product get a value of 0.89 which is very good. The practical test results were carried out by curriculum representatives with a value of 1.0, which is very practical. And the results of the effectiveness test with the homeroom teacher and students with a value of 0.98 are very good.ABSTRAK:Dalam pelaksanaannya, sistem akademik yang berjalan di SMKN 4 Payakumbuh dirasa belum optimal, hal ini dikarenakan sistem yang digunakan masih bersifat manual.
