Spackled yellows of wheat leaves is caused by pathogen Pyrenophora tritici-repentis (Died.) Drechs.). This is a widespread disease and in addition to wheat, the pathogen affects more than 60 species of cereals and wild relatives. The review presents spread of pathogen in the world and in Russia, its biological features and injurousness, which is associated with reduction of yields up to 60% in the years of its epiphytotic development. Special attention is paid to the racial composition of P. tritici-repentis in various geographical zones and the heterogeneity of the distribution of races in the world. The most common races of spacled yellows pathogen are races 1 (Tox A, Tox C), 2 (Tox A), 7 (Tox A, Tox B), 8 (Tox A, Tox B, Tox C). The formation of atypical races that cannot be referred to the existing classification is noted, which indicates high adaptive properties of the phytopathogen. At present, ubiquitousness of fungus, its high adaptive abilities, saturation of crop rotations with grain crops, cultivation of unstable varieties, minimization of soil cultivation and other reasons will contribute to further spread of the harmful disease, which actualizes the need to develop integrated systems for protecting crops from spackled yellows pathogen.

Abstract Abstracts. The years of experiment were from 2016…2020 in a farm on the Ergenin Upland chestnut soils in Volgograd region. The experiments were placed in five fields of vegetable crop rotation with the total area of 165 ha. During the presented period, a competitive test was carried out to identify the most productive samples of onions. The objects of the study were samples -the zoned variety Volgodonets (control variety) of domestic selection, hybrids of foreign selection Pandero F1, Benefit F1, Valero F1, Manas F1. It was found that hybrids give more than twice the yield over the control variety in almost all the variants. But the most optimal and more productive in all cases proved to be option No. 2 hybrid Benefit F1 with the parameters: the seeding rate of 1,000,000 pcs of seeds per hectare with viability of 97.31%, which provided for harvesting 973,100 plants per hectare and achieved a yield of 143.41 t/ha on average for repetitions in 2020. Thus, we can conclude that the seeding rate is 1,000,000 pcs of seeds per hectare in the conditions of chestnut soils of the Ergenin Upland is optimal in the conditions of the existing agricultural technology.

The results of long-term field experiments of the yield of sweet corn cobs and popcorn grains of various sorts and hybrids, depending on the precursors in field and vegetable crop rotations and also permanent sowing are shown. The recommendations on applying mineral fertilization and terms of sowing are given. It is found that the best precursors for these subspecies of corn in field crop rotations are a mixture of peas and oat for green nutriment and winter wheat after steam, and in vegetable crop rotations the best are cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, early potatoes and zucchini, after which the yield of sweet corn cobs reaches 8,5 -9,5 t / ha and popcorn grains – 2,2-2,9 t / ha.

The influence of the main tillage and plant protection on the yield and its structure of grain legumes has been studied. Combined tillage with adaptively integrated plant protection increased the studied parameters by 5,4-8,7% compared to the minimum tillage and the first level of plant protection. The maximum yield was obtained on peas by the combined tillage in crop rotations of 2,65 t / ha, and with the minimum tillage – 2,36 t / ha. The effect of combined tillage on soybeans was also higher than on the minimum, where the yield was 2,25 t / ha and 1.94 t / ha, respectively. The yield of chickpea is also higher for combined processing – 2,27 t / ha, and at the minimum –1.94 t / ha. The yield of lupine for soil cultivation is 2,23 t / ha and – 2,00 t / ha.
