Relevance. Against the background of predecessors, soil cultivation and nutritional conditions, weeding of the area under Barakatli 95 durum wheat variety was studied and the results obtained are given in the article. Thus, high weeds in the field reduce the quantity and quality of crops. One of the main factors preventing this is the application of proper cultivation methods appropriate to the region. This is one of the most important and urgent issues in agriculture.Methodology. The research was conducted in a 3-factor (2×3×3) field experiment in a short-rotation crop rotation (pea-wheat-wheat) located at the Jalilabad Regional Experimental Station in the rainfed conditions of South Mugan. The amount of weeds in the field was studied in the first decade of March and April by counting weeds per 1 m2 from different parts of the field according to the options.Results. The results of the 3-year study (average for 2019–2021) showed that the effect of predecessors, soil cultivation and nutritional conditions on the amount of weeds under winter wheat was different. Among the cultivation options, relatively high weeding soil was obtained with a heavy disc harrow at a depth of 10–12 cm in the form of 1 disc, and against the background of feeding conditions, N60P60 + 10 tons of manure on all three cultivations, and the least weeding was observed in the variant where N90P60K45 fertilizer norm was applied in 2 discs at a depth of 10–12 cm with a heavy disk trowel after the pea predecessor.

At present, the preparation of the soil for the hop plant with machines of traditional hop production technology is unrealistic, since there are no more hops and no one is producing them. In this regard, a progressive technology for growing hops and promising machines for them, including for energy-saving tillage for hops, have been proposed. As the main cultivation, two-strip soil cultivation was used for rows of hops with a combined subsoiler-drener developed at the Chuvash State Agrarian University. Moreover, loosening is carried out with the simultaneous introduction of liquefied litterless manure with a dose of 100-120 t / ha to the subsurface zone from 0.20 to 0.60 m. In the soil, liquefied litterless manure fills the drainage canal and the soil pores adjacent to the canal, activates the activity of microorganisms and soil biochemical processes. Row loosening with a combined machine allows to reduce the energy consumption of processing by 57% compared to continuous plowing with plantation plows and to exclude the operation of applying bedding manure with subsequent moldboard embedding. As a pre-planting soil preparation, cultivation with combined stubble cultivators of the KST-3,8 type and its analogues with the incorporation of crushed green manure (up to 75%), high-quality leveling and crumbling of the soil is proposed. Stirring and leveling of the field surface is provided by afrontal discs behind the last row of flat-cut tines, crumbling - by a ribbed roller. The maneuverability of such a cultivator in the cramped conditions of the hop is taken into account. Replacement of plowing operations with general purpose plows and subsequent leveling by a cultivator allows an additional 45-50% reduction in the energy intensity of pre-planting soil cultivation. The main energy source in the main tillage is the tractor BTZ-243k

The results of studying the elements of the technology of cultivation of a new variety of winter rye Sudarushka are presented. The research took place in 2019, 2020 in the sub-taiga zone of the Tomsk region. The impact of soil cultivation methods as well as the impact of humic fertiliser from peat Gumostim on the yield of winter rye Sudarushka is evaluated. The soils of the experimental plot are acidic (pH 4.3) soddy-podzolic loamy sandy loam. The arable horizon has a low humus content (1.5%), a low (0.2 mg/100g) content of nitrate nitrogen, a medium content of mobile phosphorus (19.2) and exchangeable potassium (7.1) and a high (11.0 mg/100g) content of mobile aluminium. The scheme of the experiment included four variants of cultivation: ploughing of fallow lands with PlN-4-35 + cultivation KPN-4,2, sowing without packing and with packing; disking with BDMK-2,8 + cultivation KPN-4,2, sowing without packing and with packing. Treatment with humic fertilizer from peat Gumostim at a concentration of 0.001% was carried out during the growing season in the beginning phase of the leaf-tube formation. The average yield of winter rye in the variety Sudarushka during the years of research was 4.66 t/ha in the variant with disking, subsequent cultivation before sowing and further sowing with packing, which is 0.34 t/ha higher than with the traditional method of soil cultivation. The application of humic fertilizer from peat Gumostim on cold sod-podzolic soils enabled the average yield of winter rye to be 4.31 t/ha y, which is 0.39 t/ha higher than without the fertilizer.

The purpose of the research was to establish the most rational soil cultivation system for irrigated conditions, contributing to the preservation of ecological balance and increasing the profitability of pepper production. Experimental studies were carried out on meadow-chestnut soils of the plain zone of the Republic of Dagestan in 2017-2019. in a two-factor experiment to determine the most effective combination of soil cultivation and irrigation regime. The paper presents the results of the influence of plowing and disc cultivation on the water-physical properties of the soil and its biological activity, as well as on the yield of sweet pepper under drip irrigation. The results of three-year research have established that, under irrigation conditions, the most effective method of basic soil cultivation is moldboard soil cultivation to a depth of 0.23 ... 0.25 m, which contributed to the improvement of soil density, its permeability, structural state and increased biological activity in the treated layer. On plowing, the yield of sweet pepper fruits was obtained at the level of 6.23 t/ha. The use of disc processing by 0.10 ... 0.12 m leads to a deterioration of agrophysical indicators of fertility, phytosanitary state of irrigated fields by 1.7 ... 2.2 times, a decrease in yield by 5.1 ... 9.6% and profitability of pepper fruit production by 25.3 ... 31.0%.

Abstract In the modern world a person strives for an industrial society more and more, accumulating power and trying to enclose them in one machine that would perform several operations in one pass over the field surface. So there are implements performing tillage with application of fertilizers or soil cultivation with simultaneous planting and application of fertilizers. Using such implements allows to reduce costs for further cultivation of crops. However, the stake placed on soil preparation and application of fertilizers can not always give the desired effect without due attention to the seed material and technical maintenance. That is why seedbed preparation, the seed material and machines are the main problems of high technology society.

This article discusses the design of the strut of a tillage machine in the form of an S-shaped power element, using flexible tubular elements (Bourdon springs). Racks of this type are proposed for copying the soil microrelief, maintaining the depth of soil cultivation using a hydraulic drive. The possibility of using the S-shaped rack of the tool of the tillage machine, using flexible tubular elements, to ensure the copying of the soil micro-relief, compliance with the specified working depth, has been experimentally proved. Evaluation of the sensitivity and traction capacity of the S-shaped load-bearing element of the rack will allow us to speak of the ability to create displacements within 120 mm and traction forces up to 1600 N, at a maximum pressure of 6 MPa. Currently, electronic devices are widely used in modern precision farming technology. Soil surface measurement is solved with single-purpose handheld instruments that are placed in the field before passing a tillage machine such as a plow or harrow and after tilling the soil. Laser, photogravimetric and synthetic aperture radar systems are used for non-contact measurement of soil roughness and uniformity. Measurements to calibrate the camera output were carried out at three height levels: 500 mm, 1000 mm and 1500 mm. The indicated measuring heights have been selected for possible applications in agricultural soil research, for example when determining the quality of the treated soil during plowing after passing the tillage machine. Measurements can be used to determine the condition of the soil before and after treatment. The system is easy to use and does not require special and additional expensive software. The use of 3D cameras is effective for determining the state of soil cultivation and a promising direction for adjusting the parameters of the tillage machine. Abstract The paper considers the effect of milling the soil for fertilizing with the ability to obtain a soil structure, in which there will be a uniform distribution of fertilizers for their more active assimilation. The device of the rotary working body for the implementation of this technological process is presented. The theoretical substantiation of the curvilinear working surface of the knife is carried out to obtain the optimal structure of the soil. The dependence of the shape of the knife working surface on the parameter of the parabola p is plotted. The results of experimental studies are given. It was concluded that the quality of soil cultivation required by agricultural technology by this working body with a knife working surface made in a parabola was obtained with a parameter p = 2.5.
