Post processing is one of the key technologies of CNC programming. Nowadays, the wide application of new type CNC machines is limited by the matching problem between the CAM systems and the developing CNC machine systems. This paper based on XDK9070 CNC engraving machine, researched the file format of cutter location files generated from Pro/Toolmaker and the CNC program format of FAGOR system, expounded the method and process for post processing, designed a special post processing procedure for FAGOR CNC system based on Visual C++, verified the correctness and practicality of the post processing procedure by a example of product processing.

Post-processing technology is the key to CNC automatic programming technology and an important module of the CAD / CAM system. Post-processing technology converts the NC program that is produced by the CNC automatic programming tool into the file that can be identified by CNC system. Moreover, the generated tool path files must match with the CNC system. Post-processing techniques and UG software are briefly introduced. Using them, a post-processor for FANUC CNC systems is created. The program that generated by the special processor is contrasted with the general processor. The results illustrat that using the dedicated post-processor in engineering applications can improve programming efficiency and processing reliability.

We extended an analytical approach to determining the optimal post-processing function for the minimum operation in the MIN-SUM algorithm, previously obtained for conventional low density parity check codes (LDPC codes), to irregular LDPC codes. The optimal post-processing expression for the non-standard case varies from one control node to another, as well as from one iteration to the next. For practical use, it is necessary to approximate this optimal function. Unlike the usual case where one could use a unique post-processing function throughout the entire decoding process without sacrificing bit code performance, it is critical for irregular codes to distinguish post-processing from one iteration to the next in order to achieve good performance. Using this approach, we found that the quality of bit errors from the trust algorithm corresponds to an improvement of 1 level compared to the MIN-SUM algorithm without post-processing. First, we provide an overview and analytical framework for optimal post-processing. Then, we present the optimal post-processing function for irregular codes and discuss possible simplifications. Finally, we show the simulation results and the benefits of the approximation

This paper aims at A-C axis dual rotary working table five-axis CNC system, does some research about the calculating method of space tool compensation vector in five-axis CNC machine. The algorithm of post-process of five-axis CNC machine has been analyzed. The special postprocessor based on five-axis cutter location source file(CLSF) which generated from UG NX 6.0 software has been developed and applied, and there are space tool compensation vectors in the five-axis NC code. Taking blade as machined part for example, NC code machined simulation is verified in Vericut7.0 software, and space tool compensation vector for graphic simulation is analyzed. The actual calculating results indicate that the proposed method is correct and feasible.

Abstract For research in the field of illumination estimation and color constancy, there is a need for ground-truth measurement of the illumination color at many locations within multi-illuminant scenes. A practical approach to obtaining such ground-truth illumination data is presented here. The proposed method involves using a drone to carry a gray ball of known percent surface spectral reflectance throughout a scene while photographing it frequently during the flight using a calibrated camera. The captured images are then post-processed. In the post-processing step, machine vision techniques are used to detect the gray ball within each frame. The camera RGB of light reflected from the gray ball provides a measure of the illumination color at that location. In total, the dataset contains 30 scenes with 100 illumination measurements on average per scene. The dataset is available for download free of charge.

The entire character recognition system is logically characterized into different sections like Scanning, Pre-processing, Classification, Processing, and Post-processing. In the targeted system, the scanned image is first passed through pre-processing modules then feature extraction, classification in order to achieve a high recognition rate. This paper describes mainly on Feature extraction and Classification technique. These are the methodologies which play an important role to identify offline handwritten characters specifically in Gujarati language. Feature extraction provides methods with the help of which characters can identify uniquely and with high degree of accuracy. Feature extraction helps to find the shape contained in the pattern. Several techniques are available for feature extraction and classification, however the selection of an appropriate technique based on its input decides the degree of accuracy of recognition.

Data post-processing plays important roles in a wind tunnel test, especially in supporting the validation of the test results and further data analysis related to the design activities of the test objects. One effective solution to carry out the data post-processing in an automated productive manner, and thus eliminate the cumbersome conventional manual way, is building a software which is able to execute calculations and have abilities in presenting and analyzing the data in accordance with the post-processing requirement. Through several prototype development cycles, this work attempts to engineer and realize such software to enhance the overall wind tunnel test activities. Index Terms—software engineering, wind tunnel test, data post-processing, prototype, pseudocode
