Abstract The creation of management models for the construction of Social Interest Houses in the province of Azuay has been one of the relevant actions to mitigate the existing housing deficit in the territory in the last ten years. Within this period, two management models have played a leading role: the SAV-BID National Social Housing Program and the SIV National Social Housing Program. Models created and promoted by the Ecuadorian State, with the help of various actors, that try to correct the housing problems present in the vulnerable socioeconomic strata of the country. With this background, a comparative study of the management models applied in Ecuador is proposed, through which the similarities and differences between each of them are evidenced, as well as the potentialities and weaknesses that have characterized them, both in their management as in your application. The study begins with a referential framework, where central issues are considered such as: characterization of the concept of Social Interest Housing, housing deficit in Ecuador, and the essential components required for the design and implementation of a housing management model, with the purpose to define and understand the context of the investigation. For the development of the study, a qualitative methodology is proposed, which uses a deductive-inductive system; where dimensions, sub-dimensions and variables are raised in order to approach the study of management models from the general to the particular. The dimensions are defined as the great considerations and aspects that determine the models; The subdimensions are the analysis components where the results of the execution and application of the models are produced, and the variables are made up of the unique aspects or particularities of the study. The results show similarities in the planning and structuring of the two models. However, there are differences in the source of financing and in the characteristics and obligations of the project stakeholders. The study concludes that there are some differences that have allowed the SAV BID National Housing Program management model to generate greater production of Social Interest Housing. These differences are closely related to the active and continuous participation of the managers or home builders, a fundamental aspect that has allowed the success of the projects developed through this management model.

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) Character education management models in Indonesia and India: Comparative Study at UNY and LR DAV College Jagraon India, 2) effectiveness of Character education management models in Indonesia and India: Comparative Study at UNY and LR DAV College Jagraon India. The method of this research was qualitative research and used a comparative study design approach. This research's most appropriate strategy was embedded research (stuck research) because the research has been planned in detail in the proposal before the researchers plunged into the field. The steps used were: 1) collecting source through multi-technique); 2) reducing data to simplify and categorizing data; 3) presenting data in the form of qualitative description; 4) drawing conclusions and 5) preparing research reports and formulating recommendations comparison research results. The research results show that the character education management model in Indonesia and India is almost the same. Whereas in Indonesia, it focuses more on religious and general characters, it is more on developing religious character in India. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of character education from Indonesia and India has been achieved by shaping students' character and other components, both for lecturers and education staff. Meanwhile, in India, public awareness and educators of the importance of education.

Purpose The author posits that the management model of an organization determines what kind of business models can be pursued within that organization and that successful 21st century management models are very different from those that succeeded in the 20th century. Design/methodology/approach The author compares and contrasts successful 21st century management models with models that succeeded in the 20th century. Findings Success in the digital age requires a 21st century management model and mindset based on an obsession with delivering value to customers. Practical implications The management model incorporates the key ‘written and unwritten rules’ of the firm. The success of digital innovation can be threatened by 20th Century management assumptions that thwart Agile initiatives. Originality/value Article explains how Agile mindsets and practices are essential to the 21st century management model, and how they potentiate the firm’s focus on creating customers.

Many theories and definitions regarding the concept of Leadership and Management appear in modern literature, as well as interpretations, references to specific characteristics and related topics. This fact shows that over time, a significant effort has been made to clarify the various dimensions of the concept of Leadership and its distinction from the concept of Management. The whole research activity gradually contributed to the development of an important framework in which various and remarkable theoretical models were developed, in parallel with the broader research that has been developed in the field of "human resource management", intending to study leadership styles and managerial behaviors to which they are connected. Many researchers agree that the position of traditional management is completely taken over today by Leadership, which is a complex but flexible, dynamic and at the same time creative resource management process. As has been observed, each new form of Leadership, developed during the 20th century, took into account the effectiveness of the previous one, both in theory and in practice. In this chapter, through three indicative sections, emphasis is placed on the clarification of the concepts of Leadership and Management, concise, conceptual approaches to Leadership Theories and Management Models are developed. Finally, reference is made to the modern, leading role of the School Principal. This paper transfers and adapts the Black-Litterman portfolio management model and its subsequent generalizations to the characteristics and specificities of assets quoted on sports betting markets. The results show that these assets are suitable for the application of portfolio management models with the possible inclusion of investors’ opinions. Information based on the variability of market prices and the attention received by NBA teams in Google Trends is successfully used to simulate the opinions expressed by a hypothetical portfolio manager. Furthermore, the assets are suitable for inclusion in portfolios in which managers are seeking returns uncorrelated with other assets.

The chapter provides historical development of archives and records management models. A records management model has been developed by scholars and institutions. The models were created to assist organizations to navigate, benchmark, and improve records management programs. They were also applied to implement records and archives management programs in most organizations. Nevertheless, achieving consensus on internationally agreed theories for the records and archives management theories was not an easy task and part of the reasons for this layer with different theoretical perspectives.

This paper will discuss the origins and development of the labour market reform agenda pursued by the Business Council of Australia (the council). This agenda found its initial expression in the attempt to apply the McKinsey 'new manage ment' model of employment relations to the regulation of the labour market in Australia. The 'popular' management works of Fred Hilrner are discussed, as is their relationship to the various reports issued by the council from 1989 to 1993 on the development of enterprise-based employment relations. The paper will assess the extent to which the McKinsey-Hilmer-council discourse influenced the terms of the enterprise bargaining debate in the later 1980s and 1990s. In turn, there will be consideration of tlte extent to which the developments in the council's discourse were influenced by changes to the industrial relations system in the same period and the adoption of the enterprise discourse by other contributors to the labour market debate. The paper concludes that the council was able to take a leading role in establishing the hegemony of the enterprise discourse without necessarily achieving a regulatory regime that matched its 'new management' model of employment relations.

Contrary to other accounts of the 1919 national housing program, this article examines the plan's long-term history using Vancouver as a case study. It argues that a basic structural flaw in the local Better Housing Scheme created financial hardship for the City of Vancouver as well as for mortgagors during the depression. The burden of mortgage repayment that fell to the city discouraged it from participating in other housing initiatives in the 1930s and 1940s. Still, the labour, women's, and veterans' organizations that supported the scheme represented the beginnings of Vancouver's social housing movement that matured in the late 1930s and achieved significant improvements in residential conditions in the 1940s.
