In the initial stage of a radio frequency ion thruster (RIT) ignition, an influx of electrons is required from an external source into the discharge chamber and ionization of the neutral gas propellant. A neutralizer-free method for Townsend breakdown discharge ignition based on Paschen’s law was developed in this study. The feasibility of the ignition method was confirmed by performing thousands of ignition experiments. Metallic Molybdenum (Mo), pyrolytic graphite (PG) and Zr[Formula: see text]Ti[Formula: see text]Cu[Formula: see text]Ni[Formula: see text]Be[Formula: see text]alloy acceleration grids were prepared, and ignition-induced damage on the grids was investigated. A field-emission scanning electron microscope was used to inspect surface damage on the grids after multiple ignitions and to analyze the influence of the ignition method on the lifetime of the ion optical system. Grid materials for space missions that require multiple RIT ignitions (10[Formula: see text] should be high-strength blocks that are resistant to sputtering corrosion and high temperature.

The problem of radio frequency distribution is considered in the article, taking into account the regulations and geographical location of the operating units. The problem of assigning radio frequencies from among those assigned for corporate use is studied. Using conformal mapping, it was substantiated that any territory can be divided into zones, each of which will have a border with only three other zones. In this case, in each zone, you can assign frequencies in the amount of one quarter of the total number of available frequencies that do not overlap with frequencies assigned to adjacent zones. A mathematical model of the problem of radio frequency redistribution has been built, taking into account the regulations and the geographical location of the units. The implementation of algorithm allows taking into account the history of frequency distribution by zones, which allows you to completely update the used radio frequencies for a new period of operation. A software module has been compiled that generates frequencies at random from those available for assigning corporate use for each zone. The software module allows fast and frequent reallocation of frequencies by zones, thereby ensuring the safety, reliability and stability of communication between organizational units.

We investigate the possibility of increasing the efficiency of extraction of high-viscosity oil combined effect of radio-frequency (RF) electromagnetic (EM) and acoustic fields on the formation and miscible displacement oil solvent. A mathematical model of two-stage impact on the oil reservoir. At the 1st stage, the heating of the formation RF electromagnetic and acoustic field. At the 2nd stage the RF heating of the formation with simultaneous injection of low-viscosity solvent.
