Any modern machine-building enterprise is a complex system consisting of many organizational elements with clearly defined functions, boundaries and resources. The size of these resources determines the planned productivity of the enterprise. At the same time, an enterprise is a social system that has non-linear properties, since the human factor is involved. Therefore, situations are possible where even small beneficial changes in the nature of the interaction in the production system can cause a significant increase in productivity. However, situations are also possible when large transformations that consume significant resources do not lead to desired achievements or even worsen the existing state. This article discusses the application of process-oriented thinking in the practical work of an enterprise at all its levels.

The paper discusses the goals and objectives of creating digital twins of the production system of a machine-building enterprise. The data structure of the information model of the production system of a machine-building enterprise, which is the basis for building a digital twin, is presented. The paper shows the main approaches to managing a production system based on the construction of its digital twin. It is revealed that along with traditional approaches to PS management by forming recommendations in terms of PS engineering and its operation, the choice of the most rational PS management algorithms that take into account the peculiarities of the production process organization and ensure the formation of production schedules that take into account PS reliability indicators has a great potential. It is proposed to use a specialized language of DPML to describe the information model of the PS through the “product-process-resource” paradigm, which ensures the coordination of the processes of forming recommendations in terms of engineering and operation of the PS, as well as the choice of the most rational algorithm for managing the PS.

The occupational risk assessment of a machine building company must cover each activity and workstation, taking into account each component of the production system (work system), each workload, work equipment and the work environment. This assessment is an extremely complicated and complex issue since the production system of such an enterprise is particularly complex and complicated. Welding assembly is a highly polluting technology process, especially of the atmosphere and soil. The formation of gases in the welding process is the result of burning of the electrodes, powders, forming the molten metal bath and making the weld seam. Welding operators are exposed to smoke and toxic gases resulting from the welding process, which can in many cases be hazardous to health. Many acute intoxications that may be caused by excessive exposure to or short exposure to smoke and gas resulting from the welding process have been studied over time. In the paper are presented the elements of risk related to the welding process and the most widespread occupational diseases that can occur in the ranges of the welding operators. The following are presented the noxious emissions from welding and are determined by a practical method the emission of noxious at welding deposition of a welding sample, using the manual arc welding process with coated electrode.

Introduction. Adverse effects of environmental factors can cause dysfunction of organs and systems, hormonal dysfunction, genetic disorders, which can adversely affect the health of future generations. The aim is to study occupational risk factors and assess their impact on the health of male workers of machine-building enterprises, to develop preventive measures. Material and methods. The working conditions of 318 male workers of the main professions of the machine-building enterprise (miller, locksmith, electric and gas welder, turner, caster, etc.), having occupational contact with harmful occupational factors, were studied in comparison with 148 employees of the control group. Epidemiological, socio-hygienic, statistical and risk calculation methods were used. Results. 68.2% of respondents were found to have occupational contact with cutting fluid, 24.3% contact with chemicals, 14.4% - with heavy metals, 66.2% of respondents work in conditions of noise exposure, 40.1% - local vibration, 22.3% - in conditions of hypothermia, 14.4% - in conditions of overheating. Excess of maximum permissible concentrations of benzo(a)pyrene, aerosols of mineral oils, epichlorohydrin was detected in the air of the working zone. At workplaces, there were excess levels of noise, general vibration, thermal radiation. The impact of harmful occupational factors in the workplace was established to create a high risk to the health of workers. Conclusion. Working conditions of workers of the machine-building enterprise are mainly estimated as harmful. Critical organs and systems for the development of occupational pathology were identified, the high carcinogenic risk from exposure to benzo(a)pyrene was revealed. Employees of the machine-building enterprise were shown to have a high risk of oncology, respiratory diseases, central nervous system diseases, pathology in offspring. As a result, risk groups were formed and targeted preventive measures were proposed, including monitoring of the health status of high-risk groups, occupational selection, and medical examinations.

In the absence of uniform and unified requirements for the assessment of industrial risks at an enterprise, the system approach remains the only tool for a comprehensive assessment of the workplace safety. Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) system involves identifying, analyzing and reducing risks at the workplace. The purpose of the article is to calculate the minimum expenses for occupational safety measures and minimize production risks identified through the developed procedure for analyzing the hazards of the machine-building enterprise. The research methodology is based on the integrated use of qualitative and quantitative approaches to risk assessment, namely, structured assessment and integral assessment using the “rucksack problem” optimization model. The study identifies the risks that are most common and the most serious ones. The procedure of risk reduction is proposed, which is to determine the minimum costs for achieving each of the integral assessments for the machine-building enterprise. The practical value of work consists in the ability to directly apply the developed methodology for risk assessment at the enterprises of the machine-building industry, and to easily adapt the risk assessment procedure to other conditions.
