In order to meet the needs of real-time positioning and remote dispatching of vehicle, this paper designs a ZigBee-based embedded vehicle terminal and the corresponding ZigBee-GPRS information communication network in hardware and software. With LPC2366 processor and CC2430 RF chip as core, the vehicle terminal acquires the vehicle‘s status in cycle, and completes the vehicle monitoring and scheduling by transmitting data to communication nodes by ZigBee and passing the data on to the monitoring center by GPRS. This vehicle terminal is characterized by small size, low energy consumption and ideal communication distance, which makes the monitoring center effectively monitor and schedule the vehicles.

Wireless Sensor Network is a wireless network technology that includes sensor nodes and embedded systems. WSN has several advantages: it is cheaper for large-scale applications, can withstand extreme environments, and data transmission is relatively more stable. One of the WSN devices is nRF24L01+. Within the specifications given, the maximum communication distance is 1.1 km. However, the most effective distance for transmitting data in line of sight and non-line of sight is still unknown. Therefore, testing and analysis are needed so that the nRF24L01+ device can be used optimally for communication and data transmission. Through testing analysis on nRF24L01+ line of sight, Kuta beach location in Bali and non-line of sight on the STMIK STIKOM Indonesia campus. The effective communication distance of the nRF24L01+ module in line of sight is between 1 and 1000 meters. The distance of 1000 meters is the limit of the effective distance for sending data, and the packet loss rate is less than 15% which is included in the medium category. Meanwhile, in the non-line of sight, the effective distance of the nRF24L01+ communication module is 20 meters, and the packet loss is close to 15%, which is a moderate level limit. With the analysis module, nRF24L01+ can be a reference in determining the effective distance on WSN nRF24L01+ in determining remote control equipment data communication.

UAV formation is one of techology development in UAV world. The UAV formation can be utilized in various fields including agriculture, mapping and defense security (HANKAM). Communication is one of the important components in making UAV formations. To make UAV formations, position and direction data (AHRS) from each UAV will be sent to other UAVs so that when forming UAV formation, no collisions occur between UAVs. This study uses a star topology like the one on a computer network. This method involves two or more UAVs, both of which will exchange data. In this study the data sent is in the form of a dummy data package using the xbee module. The purpose of this study is the initial model of communication between UAVs which can later be developed into more complex communication models for many UAVs. The results obtained in the form of maximum communication distance between UAVs is 50m and the recommended optimal distance is 10-20m.

In this article, we use a low-power iBeacon network to conduct an in-depth analysis and research on the principle of indoor positioning and adopt an efficient and fast positioning algorithm. Secondly, based on the obtained analysis, an iBeacon-based indoor positioning system is proposed to analyze how to use iBeacon for accurate positioning and whether it can effectively compensate for the current mainstream positioning system. We analyze the requirements of the iBeacon-based indoor positioning system and propose the design of this positioning system. We analyze the platform and environment for software development, design the general framework of the positioning system, and analyze the logical structure of the whole system, the structure of data flow, and the communication protocols between each module of the positioning system. Then, we analyze the functions of the server module and the client module of the system, implement the functions of each module separately, and debug the functions of each module separately after each module is implemented. The feasibility of the algorithm and the performance improvement are confirmed by the experimental data. Our results show that the communication distance is improved by approximately 20.25% and the accuracy is improved by 5.62% compared to other existing results.

Wireless sensor networks are commonly used to monitor certain regions and to collect data for several application domains. Generally, in wireless sensor networks, data are routed in a multi-hop fashion towards a static sink. In this scenario, the nodes closer to the sink become heavily involved in packet forwarding, and their battery power is exhausted rapidly. This article proposes that a special node (i.e., mobile sink) will move in the specified region and collect the data from the sensors and transmit it to the base station such that the communication distance of the sensors will be reduced. The aim is to provide a track for the sink such that it covers maximum sensor nodes. Here, the authors compared two tracks theoretically and in the future will try to simulate the two tracks for the sink movement so as to identify the better one.
