      The Aim of this study was to determine Immunogenetic expression of  Toll-like receptor gene clusters related to prostatitis, to give acknowledge about Role of TLR in prostatitis immunity in men from Basrah and Maysan provinces. A case–control study included 135 confirmed prostatitis patients And 50 persons as a control group. Data about age, marital status, working, infertility, family history and personal information like (Infection, Allergy, Steroid therapy, Residency, Smoking, Alcohol Drinking, Blood group, Body max index (BMI) and the clinical finding for all patients of Prostatitis were collected. This study shows the effect of PSA level in patients with prostatitis and control group, with P-value <0.0001 therefore the study shows a positive significant between elevated PSA levels and Prostatitis.

Cyanobacteria are prolific producers of natural products and genome mining has shown that many orphan biosynthetic gene clusters can be found in sequenced cyanobacterial genomes. New tools and methodologies are required to investigate these biosynthetic gene clusters and here we present the use of <i>Anabaena </i>sp. strain PCC 7120 as a host for combinatorial biosynthesis of natural products using the indolactam natural products (lyngbyatoxin A, pendolmycin, and teleocidin B-4) as a test case. We were able to successfully produce all three compounds using codon optimized genes from Actinobacteria. We also introduce a new plasmid backbone based on the native <i>Anabaena</i>7120 plasmid pCC7120ζ and show that production of teleocidin B-4 can be accomplished using a two-plasmid system, which can be introduced by co-conjugation.

Actin and tubulin are cytoskeleton proteins, which are important components of the celland are conserved across species. Despite their crucial significance in cell motility and cell division the distribution and phylogeny of actin and tubulin genes across taxa is poorly understood. Here we used publicly available genomic data of 49 model species of plants, animals, fungi and Protista for further understanding the distribution of these genes among diverse eukaryotic species using rice as reference. The highest numbers of rice actin and tubulin gene homologs were present in plants followed by animals, fungi and Protista species, whereas ten actin and nine tubulin genes were conserved in all 49 species. Phylogenetic analysis of 19 actin and 18 tubulin genes clustered them into four major groups each. One each of the actin and tubulin gene clusters was conserved across eukaryotic species. Species trees based on the conserved actin and tubulin genes showed evolutionary relationship of 49 different taxa clustered into plants, animals, fungi and Protista. This study provides a phylogenetic insight into the evolution of actin and tubulin genes in diverse eukaryotic species.

Microorganisms serve as attractive resources, owing to their ability to synthesize structurally-diverse substanceswith various bioactivities. Within the Bacteria domain, members of the genus Streptomyces have demonstrated remarkableability to produce clinically useful, secondary metabolites such as anticancer, antioxidants, antivirals and antibacterials.Streptomyces pluripotens MUSC 135T was isolated as novel strain from mangrove forest in Malaysia. This strain exhibitedbroad spectrum bacteriocin against several pathogens including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strainATCC BAA-44, Salmonella typhi ATCC 19430T and Aeromonas hydrophila ATCC 7966T. Thus, the strain was selected forwhole genome sequencing as an attempt to explore its bioactive potential. Here we report the first complete genome of S.pluripotens MUSC 135T genome which comprise of 7.35 Mbp with G+C content of 69.9 %. A total of 6,404 open readingframes (ORFs) were predicted, along with 18 rRNA and 69 tRNA genes. Using bacteriocin mining tool, BAGEL detectedeights gene clusters associated with bacteriocin production including lanthipeptides and linear azol(in)e-containing peptides(LAPs). Members of Streptomyces have contributed greatly towards improving lives, particularly against deadly infectionsand chronic diseases. The availability of S. pluripotens MUSC 135T genome sequence has opened new window for drugdiscovery, particularly for effective drugs against harmful pathogens such as MRSA and certainly deserves further detailedstudy.

Novosphingobium malaysiense strain MUSC 273T is a recently identified Gram-negative, aerobic alpha-proteobacterium. The strain was isolated from intertidal soil with strong catalase activity. The genome sequence comprises 5,027,021 bp, with 50 tRNA and 3 rRNA genes. Further analysis identified presence of secondary metabolite gene clusters within genome of MUSC 273T. Knowledge of the genomic features of the strain may allow further biotechnological exploitation, particularly for production of secondary metabolites as well as production of industrially important enzymes
