Abstract In this work, by constructing fundamental solutions and using the theory of resolvent operators and fractional powers of operators, we study the approximate controllability of a class of semi-linear stochastic integro-differential equations with infinite delay in $L_p$ space ($2<p<\infty $). Sufficient conditions for approximate controllability of the discussed equations are obtained under the assumption that the associated deterministic linear system is approximately controllable. An example is provided to illustrate the obtained results.

Abstract This article investigates a new class of non-instantaneous impulsive measure driven control systems with infinite delay. The considered system covers a large class of the hybrid system without any restriction on their Zeno behavior. The concept of measure differential equations is more general as compared to the ordinary impulsive differential equations; consequently, the discussed results are more general than the existing ones. In particular, using the fundamental solution, Krasnoselskii’s fixed-point theorem and the theory of Lebesgue–Stieltjes integral, a new set of sufficient conditions is constructed that ensures the existence of a solution and the approximate controllability of the considered system. Lastly, an example is constructed to demonstrate the effectiveness of obtained results.

We study the approximate controllability of a class of fractional partial neutral integro-differential inclusions with infinite delay in Hilbert spaces. By using the analytic α-resolvent operator and the fixed point theorem for discontinuous multivalued operators due to Dhage, a new set of necessary and sufficient conditions are formulated which guarantee the approximate controllability of the nonlinear fractional system. The results are obtained under the assumption that the associated linear system is approximately controllable. An example is provided to illustrate the main results.

We discuss the approximate controllability of semilinear fractional Sobolev-type differential system under the assumption that the corresponding linear system is approximately controllable. Using Schauder fixed point theorem, fractional calculus and methods of controllability theory, a new set of sufficient conditions for approximate controllability of fractional Sobolev-type differential equations, are formulated and proved. We show that our result has no analogue for the concept of complete controllability. The results of the paper are generalization and continuation of the recent results on this issue.

We discuss the approximate controllability of second-order impulsive neutral partial stochastic functional integrodifferential inclusions with infinite delay under the assumptions that the corresponding linear system is approximately controllable. Using the fixed point strategy, stochastic analysis, and properties of the cosine family of bounded linear operators combined with approximation techniques, a new set of sufficient conditions for approximate controllability of the second-order impulsive partial stochastic integrodifferential systems are formulated and proved. The results in this paper are generalization and continuation of the recent results on this issue. An example is provided to show the application of our result.

Abstract We study the existence of mild solutions and the approximate controllability concept for Sobolev type fractional semilinear stochastic evolution equations in Hilbert spaces. We prove existence of a mild solution and give sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability. In particular, we prove that the fractional linear stochastic system is approximately controllable in [0, b] if and only if the corresponding deterministic fractional linear system is approximately controllable in every [s, b], 0 ≤ s < b. An example is provided to illustrate the application of the obtained results.

AbstractSufficient conditions are established for the existence of solution for mixed neutral functional integrodifferential equations with infinite delay. The results are obtained using the theory of fractional powers of operators and the Sadovskii’s fixed point theorem. As an application we prove a controllability result for the system.

This article aims to discuss the approximate controllability of multivalued impulsive stochastic fractional differential equations with ABC derivatives in Hilbert space. Firstly, with the help of stochastic analysis, theory of resolvent operators and the fixed point technique, we confirm the existence of mild solutions for the proposed control system. Secondarily, we show that the proposed system of equations is approximately controllable under a certain hypothesis. To confirm the applicability of the obtained results, an example is provided at the end of this paper.

In this paper, we study the approximate controllability of nonlocal fractional differential inclusions involving the Caputo fractional derivative of order q ∈ (1,2) in a Hilbert space. Utilizing measure of noncompactness and multivalued fixed point strategy, a new set of sufficient conditions is obtained to ensure the approximate controllability of nonlocal fractional differential inclusions when the multivalued maps are convex. Precisely, the results are developed under the assumption that the corresponding linear system is approximately controllable.
