ABSTRACT This communication is an attempt to delineate and define reliability criteria for saturation analysis of steroids by competitive protein binding assay. The discussion of these criteria evolved from three major considerations of assay method that help to place the ultimate criterion of accuracy in proper perspective. These major considerations are: 1) the measurement system, 2) the assay design and 3) the calculations and statistical control. Such an approach permits an evaluation, both relative and absolute, for a single method or for multiple methods.

This paper is an attempt to assess if the manufacturing process of paper machine is in statistical control thereby improving the quality of paper being produced in a paper industry at the time of process itself. Quality is the foremost criteria for achieving the business target. Therefore, emphasis was made on controlling the quality of paper at the time of manufacturing process itself, rather than checking the finished lots at a later time.  This control on quality will help the industry deduct the small shift in the process parameters and modify the operating characteristics at the time of production itself rather than receiving complaints from customers at a later stage.  This paper describes controlling quality at the time of manufacture itself and helps the industry to concentrate on quality at low cost. The researcher has collected primary data at a leading paper industry during October, 2019.  Though X-bar and Range charges were primarily used, CUSUM charts were used to sense the minor shifts in manufacturing process, to explore the possibility of adjusting process parameters during manufacture of paper.

We consider the problem of rational statistical control technical parameters of automatic spacecraft (AKA) in the process of their ground testing in autonomous and complex testing in a three-tier hierarchical structure: independent product testing, independent testing systems and comprehensive testing of the AKA in general. The mathematical model of control, the formalized statement of a problem and algorithm of optimization of statistical control of sets of products and their technical parameters on hierarchy of working off is given. At the same time, the model and algorithm allow you to select the optimal product range of each level of the hierarchy from the sets that are subject to mandatory control, take into account the specified requirements for technical parameters and the results of monitoring the technical parameters of the lower levels of products when planning and carrying out control of the parameters of the higher levels.

The General characteristic of AKA as the object of research is given, the main directions of improvement of the existing methods of statistical control of reliability of AKA and the systems entering into it at their ground working off are defined.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether premorbid personality traits predispose to noncognitive symptoms in Alzheimer's disease (AD). The Munich Personality Test was used to evaluate caregivers' perception of personality prior to symptom onset in 56 outpatients with probable AD. Caregivers also completed the “mood” and “disturbed behavior” scales of the Nurses' Observation Scale for Geriatric Patients. A neuropsychiatrist rated depressive symptoms on the Cornell Scale for Depression and the occurrence of personality change in four domains according to ICD-10. Under statistical control of confounding variables, results showed a moderate association between (high) premorbid neuroticism, subsequent troublesome behavior, and personality change, on the one hand, and (low) frustration tolerance and depression, on the other. Premorbid personality traits may indeed predispose to subsequent noncognitive symptoms in AD.
