Educational Mobile Game ‘Ayo Wisata ke Riau’ is a mobile-based educational game application that was developed in 2017 on the Android platform. The quality requirements used in this game development have been adjusted for the available Educational Mobile Games. Even though it went well, there were many complaints from users during the direct implementation survey. This becomes material for re-evaluation, whether the game is ready to be disseminated to the public. Based on this occurence, a gap analysis was carried out to see the feasibility and the need for improvements to the game application that had been built. Based on the results of the gap analysis that has been carried out, it is indicated that there is a need for significant improvements in the areas of performance and user satisfaction. So that in this study, a design reengineering was carried out that was focused on improving the two things that were considered crucial, so that the results of the design and implementation that had been improved could provide better performance and user satisfaction scores than previous developments.

Certain type of microwave range finder has been designed by adopting the technologies of DDS (direct digital frequently synthesis) digital signal synthesis and online signal detection, synthetically applying equal-accuracy frequency measuring method, automatic control of frequncy drift and quick interpolation method, combining WINDOWS API programming, Labview programing and fault disgnosis expert system. Eventually, accuracy verification and fault defect of microwave range finder are accomplished.

The development of digital technologies leads to a variety of pictorial arts. With the advent of computer technology and communication technologies, areas such as computer graphics, computer and digital design, and phenomena such as digital art have emerged. The article analyzes these concepts, which provided an opportunity for further study. Based on the analysis of Internet resources on digital art, the following main trends are identified: virtual art, 3D printing, open source software, art of artificial intelligence, a combination of 2D animation and modern technologies, 3D painting, UX / UI design, game design, concept art and character design. Examples of reflection these tendencies in modern art are given. Given the selected trends, it is shown how they affect the content of training in computer graphics and digital design for students of the educational program "Digital Design" (list of compulsory and optional educational components, the content of educational practice). It is noted that to successfully work with computer graphics, students need to master traditional knowledge of pictorial arts (the concept of composition, color, perspective, proportions, shadows) and the ability to use them to create digital products using computer programs (2D graphic editors and 3D graphics) and digital technology (graphics tablet, personal and personal computer, projection equipment, camera, devices for VR and AR reality, scanner and printer, including 3D scanner and 3D printer).

Based on different scenarios (professional guidelines) practice of Software Reverse Engineering (SRE) is used to analyse the combined instructions system to extract information regarding design and implementation of either part of, or the whole software application. These business rules are implemented in the form of a line code whereas actual source code is hidden and only gets the binary form of the code. Technologies that used for reverse engineering are CVF, V7, CFC, 14D, RTR, B#. These instruments are used for a better understanding of the program algorithm, logic, and program specifics in windows API functions, programming assembler language, network interaction principle. The tools that are discussed will not disturb the code consistency and basic structure of software. Present research shows a comparative analysis of various tools to establish which reverse engineering tool is better based on what characteristics.

ABSTRACTThis article describes the design and implementation of a redistricting simulation in two classes at a large university. Simulations often include a high degree of abstraction and, as a result, may not inform and develop an understanding of how the world operates. We developed a binding-arbitration game, based on the New Jersey model of a bipartisan commission, in which groups of students used US Census data and a set of mandatory and discretionary criteria to design congressional districts in Louisiana as well as advocate for their plan at an open hearing. In so doing, they learned about the complexities of redistricting and were introduced to geographical information systems (GIS). The student-drawn maps, on average, were more compact and preserved a larger proportion of places and parishes in a single district than the legislature-drawn map. The article discusses other features of the students’ maps and concludes with comments on the general decision-game design.
