The advancement of information technology is needed by every company. One for instance is the company of PT Pustaka Imam Asy-Syafi’i, in religious book production. In its production process, the system is still conventional; therefore there are troubles found especially in communication, recording, and scheduling. The purpose of this research is to analyse and design a production process system that create the latest that could help solving today’s production process problems. The research method that use dis data collecting method in doing quetionnaire analysis and analysis method by analysing needs and giving solution system, and then designing method application. The result concluded is the integrated production system that could increase production process work, which will be seen from value changing of a SWOT in the company. The conclusion could be seen from the second SWOT result which consists of increased performance in scheduling production process, increased performance in reporting production process, and increased communication effectivity per section.Keywords: production, SWOT, supply chain management

PT. XYZ is one of the companies engaged in the salt processing industry in Indonesia. The development of this industry, in addition to having a positive impact on the economy also has the potential for negative impacts on the environment if not managed properly. This condition is inseparable from the production process which produces many defects and rejects. One way to reduce these negative impacts is by measuring performance that is integrated with the environment (Green Supply Chain Management). The researcher uses the green SCOR model which refers to the SCOR (Supply Chain Operation Reference) model from the Supply Chain Council to identify green supply chain management performance indicators. Then use AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) to determine the level of importance of green supply chain management performance indicators. There are six categories of processes used in measuring the performance of green supply chain management, namely plan, source, make, deliver, return and waste management, but research is focused on the make process that focuses on the salt production process. The results of measurements indicate that the value of the performance of green supply chain management of PT. XYZ in 2017 amounted to 75.4 and 2018 amounted to 72.3 is still below 80 even though it is nearing the target but is still being controlled and efforts are made to improve. But when in 2019 it decreased to 46.6 which shows far below the target and needs to be done immediately. As for the 17 performance indicators measured, there are 9 performance indicators that need to be improved, namely reusable material, the number of machine troubles, the number of process rejects, recycleable rejects, the amount of waste, the amount of product defects, recycleable defects, production costs and waste handling costs.


The production process is an important process to determine the quality of drugs produced by the pharmaceutical industry. The production process aims to send goods for use by consumers. This process does not have full visibility and uses a manual process to track the movement of ingredients. This results in a lack of data transparency in drug production, a major problem often faced by the pharmaceutical industry in supply chain management. The process without data transparency will reduce the quality and assurance of drugs and the ability to record information in the drug production process. Based on these problems, this study develops a mobile application by implementing a blockchain system to support the system supply chain management process from material sources, production processes to distribution to consumers. This research was conducted with a prototyping model approach in application development and multichain as blockchain technology. This research produces a mobile application with a blockchain system in the supply chain management process. The development of the application ensures that all transaction data is recorded properly and produces information that anyone can see so that the blockchain system becomes transparent, ensures security, data integrity, and makes tracking production information easier.

Contribution presents application of logistic access, solved through Supply Chain Management (SCM) with orientation mainly to the capacity planning of production with aim to increase flexibility and productivity of production process. Such changes are necessary to be realized by change of company strategy, as well as by project’s preparation and change of investment’s aims for realization of transition to new system of production management. Discussion is orientated to concrete conditions of polygraph company in Slovakia, orientated to production, refinement and sale of flexible foils for packages.

The research objective was to determine the application of Supply Chain Management (SCM) at PT Brataco Chemical Medan Branch. This research used a descriptive approach with SCM analysis. Based on the research results, the company's suppliers consist of suppliers of main and supporting raw materials. Purchases of raw materials are made by pre-order with a credit payment system. Incoming raw materials will be checked with order data. If the item does not match the order, it will be returned to the supplier for replacement. Meanwhile, the appropriate goods will be placed in the warehouse and then the production process is carried out. The production process is carried out in two stages, namely the first stage to produce low TDS & nearly neutral PH and the second stage to produce Aqua Demineralization. The production results are then checked for conformity with the predetermined standards. Products that pass will be distributed to consumers using a car provided by the company. Orders that do not fit or are defective, then consumers can return to the company to be replaced with new goods.

The Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) methodology is well-known. A great variety of studies in the field of manufacturing and production process use it, but there are few applications of this methodology in the area of the supply chain management. In the paper, the philosophy of the SMED methodology is applied to the part of the supply chain that includes the spare parts and fixtures in the food sector. This involves studying the relationship with the supplier of the installation of spare parts and fixture on the machine. The study shows how the spare parts management has several phases: the coordination and purchase of the spare parts to the supplier, the storage of these spare parts, the coordination of these spare parts and the scheduled maintenance, and the installation of these spare parts on the machine. The implantation of the developed working methodology has obtained a relevant improvement in the coordination and management of the spare parts. In such a way, that storage time has been reduced (inside the company’s storages) and the performance has been increased, focusing on and detailing the maintenance task and scheduling the available resources.
