In mass communication, the material process use makes it easy to lay emphasis on the participants’ actions, events, and circumstances of their occurrence, while mental process contributes to insisting on their psychological and emotional states. As for indirect speech, it characterizes the version always used by messengers, public announcers, journalists, and reporters. This study aims to analyze Transitivity and Indirect Speech in clauses ingrained and identified in some passages taken from Helon Habila’s Oil On Water (2011). One of the major principles of Systemic Functional Linguistics is that the exploration of the Transitivity properties (processes, participants, and circumstances) in a text leads to draw conclusions about the question -“who does what to whom, under what circumstances?”? In order to deliver the set objectives, the ongoing study specifically draws on the principles of experiential meaning to get data from the selected extracts and, focuses on describing the clauses containing reported speeches. By following the mixed research methods guiding principles, this research work has generated some data which enable to come up with a conclusion on the psychological and psychosomatic states of the participants as well as on the assigned status adopted by some characters. That correlates them to reporters and journalists. This research work has enabled me to develop another. This paper has made it easy to have another view about Helon Habila’s messages and the way they are conveyed throughout his novel.

Common DNA methylation controls gene expression and preserves genomic integrity. Mal methylation can cause developmental abnormalities in the plants. Multiple enzymes carrying out de novo methylation, methylation maintenance, and active demethylation culminate in a particular DNA methylation state. Next-generation sequencing advances and computational methods to analyze the data. The model plant Arabidopsis thaliana was used to study DNA methylation patterns, epigenetic inheritance, and plant methylation. Plant DNA methylation research reveals methylation patterns and describing variations in plant tissues. Determining the kinetics of DNA methylation in diverse plant tissues is also a new field. However, it is vital to understand regulatory and developmental decisions and use plant model species to develop new commercial crops; that are more resistant to stress and yield more. There are several methods available for assessing DNA methylation data. The performance of several techniques is assessed in A. thaliana, which has a smaller genome than hexaploid bread wheat. Keywords: DNA methylation, plants, process, use and benefits

In this paper, I analyse video recordings of speech-language therapy sessions for people diagnosed with aphasia. I particularly explore the way in which the speech-language therapists instruct the patients to correctly pronounce speech sounds (e.g. phonemes, syllables) by deploying not only audible but also visible forms of cues. By using their bodies – face and gestures – as an instructional tool, the therapists make visual perceptual access to articulatory features of pronunciation relevant and salient. They can also make these sensory practices accountable through the use of other senses, such as touch. Data was collected in a hospital and in a rehabilitation clinic, tracking each patient’s recovery, and is part of a longitudinal multisite corpus. The paper considers the way in which participants in the therapeutic process use and coordinate forms of sensory access to language that are based on hearing and seeing. It highlights the importance of audio and video recordings to make accessible the auditory and visual details of these sensorial experiences – particularly, proper framings and the complementary use of fixed and mobile cameras.

Peculiarities and problems of the process of reforming the main constitutional institutions are studied. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the domestic constitutional process continues throughout the period of formation of an independent, democratic and legal Ukrainian state, taking into account the peculiarities of the development of our civil society. It is stated, that integration from the general philosophical point of view is a process or actions that result in integrity, unification, connection, restoration of unity. The dictionary of foreign words states that integration is the unification of any parts, elements. Integration develops on the basis of the internationalization of the whole civil society, which is accelerated by scientific and technological progress. States, involved in the integration process, share positive experiences. It was found out, that the current stage of state building requires scientific support of Ukraine up to European standards of public life. In the current European integration conditions, modern Ukraine, as never before, needs a correct and reasonable process of adopting a new version of the Basic Law. Since the state power plays a very important role in the transformation of Ukraine into a democratic, strong and integral state, the power of our state must focus its efforts on bringing the constitutional modernization to a certain level and implement it. It is established, that the main criterion for the division of the "constitutional process" into separate types is its essential features. Depending on the scope and practical implementation of the relevant elements of the «constitutional process», its content can be considered in different directions, which were proved above. A significant number of domestic scholars who have devoted their work to the «constitutional process» use this term as a description of the systems of relevant events that took place during a certain period (stages of the process) and preceded or directly were the time of the Constitution of Ukraine

This paper proposes a new method to rank the parametric form of fuzzy numbers based on defuzzification. The defuzzification process use centroids, value, ambiguity and decision levels on fuzzy number developed from the parametric form of a generalized fuzzy number. The proposed method avoids reducing function to remove lower alpha levels and can overcome the shortcomings in some of the existing fuzzy ranking methods. The proposed method can effectively rank symmetric fuzzy numbers with the same core and different heights, fuzzy numbers with the same support and different cores, crisp numbers, crisp numbers having the same support and different heights, and fuzzy numbers having compensation of areas. A demonstration of the proposed method through examples and a comparative study with other methods in the literature shows that the proposed method gives effective results.

Bringing evaluation insights to use is a mantra among evaluators. Their standard solution is to discern instrumental, conceptual, and legitimizing uses as utilizations of evaluation products and to regard use of evaluation processes as a fourth type essentially different from the previous three. In two fundamental ways, this article is breaking loose from this three-times-one typology of use. One deviation is adding tactical, ritual, and constitutive product uses to the prevailing triad of instrumental, conceptual, and legitimizing uses. Even more fundamental is the second divergence, where all six uses are joined not only to product use but to process use as well. This means that all six types of use will turn up in the form of both product use and process use, leading to a six-times-two pattern instead of the three-times-one-uses-of-evaluation typology. The result is the Twelve-part typology of evaluation uses. After elaborating on the evaluation product-use/evaluation process-use distinction, the paper deliberates on the twelve-part evaluation uses typology in detail and provides practical examples of them all for illumination.

The growth of service sector is increasing the usage of digital applications worldwide. These digital applications are making use of database to store the sensitive and secret information. As the database has distributed over the internet, cybercrime attackers may tamper the database to attack on such sensitive and confidential information. In such scenario, maintaining the integrity of database is a big challenge. Database tampering will change the database state by any data manipulation operation like insert, update or delete. Tamper detection techniques are useful for the detection of such data tampering which play an important role in database forensic investigation process. Use of NoSQL database has been attracted by big data requirements. Previous research work has limited to tamper detection in relational database and very less work has been found in NoSQL database. So there is a need to propose a mechanism to detect the tampering of NoSQL database systems. Whereas this article proposes an idea of tamper detection in NoSQL database such as MongoDB and Cassandra, which are widely used document-oriented and column-based NoSQL database respectively. This research work has proposed tamper detection technique which works in forensic environment to give more relevant outcome on data tampering and distinguish between suspicious and genuine tampering.
