In industrial practice, cloud computing is becoming increasingly established as an option for formulating cost-efficient and needs-oriented information systems. Despite the increasing acceptance of cloud computing within the industry, many fundamental questions remain unanswered, or are answered only partially. Besides issues relating to the best architectures, legal issues, and pricing models, suppliers of cloud-based solutions are faced with the issue of appropriate requirements engineering. This means eliciting optimal understanding of the customer’s requirements and implementing this into appropriate requirements of the solution to be realised. This chapter examines selected, established requirements engineering methods in order to study the extent to which they can be applied to the specific requirements of cloud-based solutions. Furthermore, it develops a comparison framework containing the features of cloud computing. This comparison framework is applied to four established process models for requirements engineering. Recommendations for a requirements engineering process adapted to cloud computing are derived.

Abstract This paper describes a model of modular system for Rapid Application Development of Web-based Information Systems (RADWIS). The existing modular systems on technology, framework and platform level does not fully solve the problems of functionality reuse, rapid application development and balance between the complexity, size and functionality. The proposed modular system addresses these problems in a new way. The current work fills the gap between the modular systems on the framework and platform level. The model uses flexible, reusable modules, which can be built with different technologies. They are installable and shareable with the standard dependency manager of the technology and can communicate using web services. The modules use NoSQL approaches in SQL databases. A workflow engine module, based on the Petri Nets theory, allows a graphical and formal mathematical solution for a wide variety of problems.

Information systems discipline has developed rapidly over time. Based on 533 information systems study programs in Indonesia, it is possible to have a variety of information systems research topics. However, there is no research on information system topic trends in Indonesia. So, this research aims to determine the trend of research topics in the field of information systems in Indonesia in 2015-2019 based on the publication of the journal SINTA. The method used is qualitative non-interactive. Based on the analysis of documents on the results of data collection on the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish tools, the research adopted the recommended PRISMA in improving the quality of systematic reviews and better readers' understanding. The determination of the research topic was based on the abstract content,  keywords and referred to the IS ACM Curricula and previous research. The results of this study can be used as academic references in gaining new insights into the field of information systems. The results of the study based on 1917 raw data obtained from data collection in the journal publication SINTA 2, SINTA 3, and SINTA 4 showed that the topic "Application Development" was a trending topic with the highest percentage, namely 31%, the topic of "Decision Support System" 11% and "System Analysis and Design "10%. The new issues that arose were "Internet of Things", "Machine Learning" and "Artificial Intelligence". Information systems research in Indonesia varies widely, although some studies have a low percentage.

Bella Frame ART shop is a business shop that is engaged in selling paintings, calligraphy, and frames. Until now, the promotion method still uses brochures, posters, and pamphlets, so shop owners need a lot of money to convey information to a broad target market. Storing the results of feedback, or messages from customers is also needed, in order to assist the store in making decisions in product marketing and customer service in the future. With the application of CRM in the website-based marketing information system at the Bella Frame ART Shop, data storage can be stored neatly and in detail, and delivery of product information to customers can be done more easily and quickly and is expected to help the store make decisions in marketing products and customer service for the future. In this study, the authors used application development methods, namely the waterfall and agile methods. Web-based information systems with the proposed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) method are systems that meet the needs and have the advantage of being integrated with systems related to marketing information systems. As well as using the waterfall method can help writers in the first stage of application development because testing is carried out after the application has been run while the agile method is used at a later stage so that it can cover deficiencies in the first stage of application development, namely requests for changing needs so that applications can continue to be developed despite requests needs change and application testing can continue at any time so that errors or bugs can be found more easily. Keywords:Information Systems, Customer Relationship Management, Website, Waterfall, Agile.

This chapter introduces an object-oriented methodology for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) development. It argues that a COTS-based development methodology combined with the UML, can be extended to support the spatiotemporal peculiarities that characterize GIS applications. The author hopes that by typifying both enterprises and developments, and, with a thorough knowledge of the software component granularity in the GIS domain, it will be possible to extend and adapt the proposed COTS-based methodologies to cover the full lifecycle. Moreover, some recommendations are outlined to translate the methodology to the commercial iCASE Rational Suite Enterprise and its relationships with tool kits proposed by some GIS COTS vendors.
