The video recognition technology is applied to the landslide emergency remote monitoring system. The trajectories of the landslide are identified by this system in this paper. The system of geological disaster monitoring is applied synthetically to realize the analysis of landslide monitoring data and the combination of video recognition technology. Landslide video monitoring system will video image information, time point, network signal strength, power supply through the 4G network transmission to the server. The data is comprehensively analysed though the remote man-machine interface to conduct to achieve the threshold or manual control to determine the front-end video surveillance system. The system is used to identify the target landslide video for intelligent identification. The algorithm is embedded in the intelligent analysis module, and the video frame is identified, detected, analysed, filtered, and morphological treatment. The algorithm based on artificial intelligence and pattern recognition is used to mark the target landslide in the video screen and confirm whether the landslide is normal. The landslide video monitoring system realizes the remote monitoring and control of the mobile side, and provides a quick and easy monitoring technology.

In view of the central heating problems for remote, a realization scheme of remote monitoring system for central heating is presented. In this paper, the composition and functions of the heat supply network monitoring center, the heating station monitoring and control system and the wireless communication system are introduced, the control system hardware configuration is discussed. The system has already been used and run in a good effect.

Abstract This paper studies the design scheme of a substation remote monitoring system based on GPRS, and gives the solution about poor real-time and imperfect function of centralized substation monitoring system. The working principle diagram of the measurement and control device is introduced in detail, and the modules of analog acquisition and switching input are designed. The substation remote monitoring software based on GPRS communication is developed to realize the remote real-time monitoring of electrical and switching parameters and other functions, such as data query, fault early warning and energy efficiency analysis. The experimental results show that the system has the characteristics of real-time, multi-function and high reliability. It is of great significance to implement defensive maintenance, improve power supply quality, save energy and reduce consumption.

This paper covers the current situation of remote monitoring system, combined with the basic features and running environment of GoAhead web server, Put forward the solution to integrate GoAhead web server, Internet, embedded development platform and Linux operation system, design a remote monitoring system. By which the user can monitor voltage and control the stepper motor’s running in real time. The application results show that GoAhead web server reacts rapidly manipulates data quickly. It’s feasible to put into place and to achieve satisfied effect for the management and control of the embedded product.

The wireless remote monitoring system developed in this paper is mainly to real-time monitor the safety information of the oilfield. Through researching on the technologies of GPRS, J2ME and the role of safety monitoring system, the technical scheme design, the system composition and the monitoring software of the oilfield wireless remote monitoring system were put forward. This system mainly were mainly composed by remote monitoring terminals on spots and servers at monitoring center, which monitor and control all kinds of safety information of the oilfield. This system plays an important role in the safety of oilfield production.

Based on the Gigabit Ethernet Protocol, the RF (Radio Frequency) power amplifier remote monitoring system was designed. The system collect digital signal from predistortion module, transmit the gigabit Ethernet network to outside, and improve the system efficiency. It adopts the SOPC technology hardcore and softcore, which makes the whole system realized in the single piece of chip. Softcore is the Alteras IP core--Nios II processor, design processors, make use of the custom parts and programs gigabit Ethernet transceiver and internal driving in processor. The integration and reliability of the system are in great improvement. Through testing, system function can satisfy transmission requirements of normal transceiver RF power amplifier state information and control information.

To realize the efficient and stable real-time monitoring and intelligent management of the urban public lighting, the remote monitoring system is developed. The system is composed of monitoring center and monitoring terminals, and realizes network connection via the advanced remote wireless communication technology GPRS. It uses TI Company’s MSP430 processor chip as the monitoring terminal controller, which integrates automatic control, data acquisition, communication and other technologies and has such functions as monitoring, remote control, anti-electricity theft, remote meter reading and communication. It’s proved by practice that the designed controller features reliable running, sound real-time performance and low cost, and has a broad and bright application prospect. The monitoring and management of public lighting is a typical sector and important part of the civil work. Due to the continuous development of urban construction and ever-enlarging lighting coverage, the traditional lighting management methods can not realize centralized monitoring, have poor real-time performance and cost lots of human and material resources; thus, can not satisfy the requirements of energy saving and efficiency improvement[1]. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), the wireless packet exchange technology based on the second generation mobile communication system GSM, is very suitable for transmitting non-continuous, unexpected and small sets of street lamp monitoring data. Also, quick & easy log-on, real-time online, high-speed transmission, sound economical efficiency and many other advantages make GPRS become the first choice for remote measurement and control system[2]. Therefore, the development of GPRS-based public lighting remote monitoring system becomes a necessity. The designed monitoring system in this article is a typical distributed monitoring and data acquisition system integrating computer technologies, modern communication technologies and automatic control technologies. It conducts centralized monitoring and control on the cabinet transformer substations, transformer cabinets, control cabinets and other slave monitoring systems of the public lighting such as street lamps and landscape lamps of the city, to realize the real-time, remote monitoring and intelligent management of public lighting and ensure the efficient, all-weather running and on-demand, energy-saving lighting.

When choosing a remote monitoring system for your cathodic protection rectifiers there are many things to consider such as: do you want the ability to poll and control your rectifiers’ output or are you looking for an inexpensive system to satisfy code requirements [1]? Do you have an existing radio network or will you have to rely on an outside service provider? These are only some of the many questions that require answers before a decision can be made as to which of the many remote monitoring systems available is best suited for your cathodic protection monitoring program. This paper examines many of the questions that need to be answered prior to choosing a remote monitoring system and also discusses the pros and cons of the many options available to the industry. This will allow the reader to make informed decisions when choosing a remote monitoring system and hopefully avoid the costly mistake of installing a system that does not meet your requirements now and in the future.

BACnet is a standard data communication protocol designed specifically for building automation and control systems. In BACnet network, each device is modeled as a collection of network-accessible, data structure called “objects”. LabVIEW is a graphical development environment for creating flexible data acquisition, device control and industrial automation applications at minimal cost. In this study, a remote monitoring system based on LabVIEW and BACnet was proposed, in which electromechanical equipment is described by a series of BACnet objects and LabVIEW provides a friendly unified human-computer interface for users. In order to evaluate the feasibility of this system, an experimental model was developed. Due to the characteristic of device-independent, not only can extend the scope of BACnet application, but also make different equipments monitored under the same platform becomes possible.
