In this context, firstly, the safety evaluation index system of subway operation is established on the basis of the recognition and analysis of risk factors. Then, the paper constructs the multi-level extensible evaluation model for subway operation safety with the extension method as the core. Finally, Beijing Changping subway is studied as an example. The risk degrees of the line and its subsystems are determined. A new method for comprehensive evaluation of subway operation safety in china is put forward.

Aiming at the disadvantages of traditional design method of highway alignment and existent problems including subjectivity, reliability index, comprehensive, applicability etcetera in highway alignment evaluation with running speed. On the basis of the “safety first” idea for highway design, the concept of change rate of curvature has been proposed. Curvature change rate is the clear factor impacting on road traffic safety. Road quality evaluation standard is established based on the curvature change rate and its application method in highway alignment design method. The method not only effectively evaluates highway alignment quality, but also may be used as the basis for the selection index of highway geometric design.

In order to evaluate the level of roads safety, this paper proposes a model of traffic accidents which is derived from theories of synergetics. In this study, a great deal of field survey date is obtained via a set of physiological and psychological detection devices. By analyzing data combined with driving comfort threshold, a model of traffic accidents is founded according to different effects, caused by traffic factors.

Traffic safety dynamic trend pre-warning could effectively strengthenmonitoring strength of traffic management department, reduce the number of trafficaccident and ensure highway transportation orderly and smooth. This article analysestrend pre-warning system of traffic safety from the highway operation managementangle. Based on the above analysis, the trend dynamic pre-warning system composition and the information processing method are advanced. The processingmethods in according to the characteristics of road traffic safety, from trend impactsof traffic safety evaluation indicators use six indicators to reflect all aspects ofsecurity potential crises, such as average speed, traffic flow size, etc.

Traffic state evaluation is a basic and critical work in the research on road traffic congestion. It can provide basic data support for the improvement measures and information release in traffic management and service. The aim of this research is to obtain a comprehensive value to describe traffic state accurately based on the evaluation index system. In this paper, it is carried out using fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm and fuzzy entropy weight method. In the framework, traffic flow was classified into six different states to determine the fuzzy range of indices using the improved FCM clustering analysis. Besides, fuzzy entropy weight method is proposed to compute the evaluation result of traffic state for section, road and road network, respectively. The experiments based on the traffic information in a subset of Beijing’s road network prove that the findings of traffic evaluation are in accordance with the actual situation and people’s sense of traffic state.

The battery-electric taxis have the features of larger mass, low operating noise, and great speed, and the drivers of battery-electric taxis have various driving behaviors and low safety awareness, which leads to higher safety risks. In the paper, the driving and speed characteristics of battery-electric taxis, conventional taxis, and private cars are compared and analyzed through conducting a GPS trajectory survey and a cross-section traffic flow parameter survey. An evaluation index system that is based on the spatio-temporal speed parameters is proposed, and a MEW-VIKOR method is developed for the operatiing safety evaluation of the battery-electric taxi. The results show that the operating speed of battery-electric taxis is significantly higher than that of conventional taxis on weekdays and weekends, and there is a relatively common speeding phenomenon on urban local roads. The proposed safety evaluation index system that is based on the spatio-temporal speed parameters and the MEW-VIKOR evaluation method can effectively evaluate the operatiing safety of battery-electric taxis. In addition, the ranking results show that, according to the spatio-temporal speed parameters, the operating safety of battery-electric taxis is lower than that of conventional taxis and private cars. The research provides theoretical insights for strategies and policies making to reduce the unsafe driving behaviors of battery-electric taxis.
