Manggala District is one of the sub-districts in Makassar City which often faces cases of Dengue Fever. Dengue fever is a disease transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The breeding of Aedes Aegypti is increasing due to the increasingly crowded conditions of buildings and housing. These mosquitoes not only live in dirty water environments, but also in clean water such as bathtubs, water reservoirs, and others. Some community members still have limited knowledge and understanding of effective ways of dealing with dengue cases, as well as the use of plant species that can be used to repel mosquitoes. The purpose of the service is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the community about dengue fever and the use of mosquito repellent plants. The extension method is the presentation by the extension team, the discussion stage, and the evaluation stage. The results show an increase in public knowledge and understanding of dengue disease and the use of mosquito repellent plants. The conclusion is that the community finally knows the dangers of dengue disease and knows the types of mosquito repellent plants.

The development of underground spaces in urban areas plays a crucial role in the regeneration and sustainability of cities. However, the conventional underground excavation works in metropolises limit the use of the ground facilities owing to stability, noise, and vibration problems, which may cause huge economic damage. In this study, a method of pre-constructing slabs of underground facilities was analyzed to improve the stability of the floating and underground extension method, even during the use of the target building. First, a numerical simulation was conducted to compare the stability of the top-down method with slab pre-construction with that of the conventional top-down method. Then, the stability of the test bed was checked by applying this construction method to the field. As a result, the top-down method with slab pre-construction significantly improved the stability of the target building by preventing the buckling of the columns and supporting members. The increase in the displacement of existing columns and supporting members was controlled after the pre-construction of the slab. In addition, the crack width and ground settlement were stable within the management standards at the field. Thus, this construction method is expected to be crucial in pursuing urban regeneration and sustainability through the efficient development of underground spaces.

In this paper, we study the effects of rotation in the spin-1/2 non-relativistic Aharonov-Bohm problem for bound states. We use a technique based on the self-adjoint extension method and determine an expression for the energies of the bound states. The inclusion of the spin element in the Hamiltonian guarantees the existence of bound state solutions. We perform a numerical analysis of the energies and verify that both rotation and the spin degree of freedom affect the energies of the particle. The main effect we observe in this analysis is a cutoff value manifested in the Aharonov-Bohm flux parameter that delimits the values for the positive and negative energies.

A receiver-extension strategy is presented as an alternative to recently promoted source-extension strategies, in the framework of high resolution seismic imaging by full waveform inversion. This receiver-extension strategy is directly applicable in time-domain full waveform inversion, and unlike source-extension methods it incurs negligible extra computational cost. After connections between difference source-extension strategies are reviewed, the receiver-extension method is introduced and analyzed for single-arrival data. The method results in a misfit function convex with respect to the velocity model in this context. The method is then applied to three exploration scale synthetic case studies representative of different geological environment, based on: the Marmousi model, the BP 2004 salt model, and the Valhall model. In all three cases the receiver-extension strategy makes it possible to start full waveform inversion with crude initial models, and reconstruct meaningful subsurface velocity models. The good performance of the method even considering inaccurate amplitude prediction due to noise, imperfect modeling, and source wavelet estimation, bodes well for field data applications.

Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) coverage in Sibolga city is still relatively low. This article aims to reconstruct the residents' understanding of the pillars of open defecation free (ODF) in Huta Tonga-Tonga Village, North Sibolga District. This activity is important to do in connection with the results of environmental observations and interviews with residents and health workers which highlight the understanding of personal hygiene and regional geographic conditions as the main obstacles. The socialization method was used in this work were lecturing in the form of counseling, measuring the volume of feces, compiling a flowchart of contamination by residents. The extension method is equipped with making BABS mapping, proper handwashing, and discussion of questions and answers with content of triggering elements. The resulting output is in the form of increased understanding of the importance of changing the behavior of open defecation and awareness of the potential diseases it can cause. In addition, the output can also be seen from the ability of residents to compile a fecal contamination flowchart. The follow-up of this activity is that the Health Office, the Sub-district side, the Puskesmas, and the Village Head should monitor and evaluate the results of the STBM triggering until finally the Huta Tonga-Tonga Village actually becomes a ODF Village.

Health education is one of the health education activities, carried out by spreading a message, instilling confidence with the aim that the community aware, know, understand, and want to do a suggestion related to health. Counseling can be done by the method of storytelling, assisted by finger puppet props. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of students about oral health through counseling - using and without finger puppets. This research is a descriptive study with survey method which examines 36 samples. Data is collected through a questionnaire filled out by students, which is then processed using a frequency distribution table Through the results of the study, the following data are known: the score of knowledge level after counseling without teaching aids is 4 students (22%) in the good category, 14 students (78%) in the medium category, and no students in the bad category; after giving information with finger puppets props changes, 15 students (83%) in the good category, 3 students (17%) in the medium category, and no students in the bad category. This study concludes that counseling with the use of finger puppets is very effective, characterized by an increase in knowledge through this extension method.
