Mathematical model and control of the pneumatic system of a lung ventilator prototype

This study develops a mathematical model for describing the dynamics of the banana-nematodes and its pest detection method to help banana farmers. Two criteria: the mathematical model and the type of nematodes pest control system are discussed. The sensitivity analysis, local stability, global stability, and the dynamic behavior of the mathematical model are performed. Further, we also develop and discuss the optimal control mathematical model. This mathematical model represents various modes of management, including the initial release of infected predators as well as the destroying of nematodes. The theoretical results are shown and verified by numerical simulations.

Enhancing the amount of industrial and chemical production is one of the most important effects of increasing rural people’s migration to cities, which leads to many abnormalities in the healthcare domain. In this regard, one of the most important tasks of health sector managers is designing and implementing some programs to monitor and control the level of community health, which is one of the health organizations’ strategic planning. On the other hand, the location of service centers is one of the most important problems in the area of strategic planning by any organization because selecting an appropriate site for constructing facilities can have a significant effect on reducing costs and increasing the coverage level. However, an appropriate site to construct the facilities must also have maximum reliability in addition to reducing costs and increasing the coverage level. This problem is important because many factors, such as natural disasters, result in failure of centers and influence the confidence level of system performance. Therefore, it is necessary to consider maximizing reliability in locating centers. For this purpose, an integer mathematical model is presented in this paper to select the optimum site for constructing the medical and emergency centers by considering the failure probability of each center. The research model’s objective function minimizes the system costs, including the costs of construction, patient transfer, and failure of medical and emergency centers. Finally, a numerical example is designed and reviewed by real-world problems to ensure the performance accuracy of the proposed model.

The geometrical interpretation of the transformation of cylindrical milling of products into profile milling by shaping cutters with a convex and concave cutting profile is considered. A mathematical model of geometric errors of profile surfaces processed with tools with the specified cutting profiles is developed. On the basis of the model and the results of its analysis, scientifically based recommendations for designing a technological operation for profile milling of products have been developed. When processing a product with a contoured cutter with a concave profile, it is recommended to calculate the geometric errors formed in the transverse plane of the shaping cutter, and when machining with a shaping cutter with a convex cutting profile - in the planes of both its ends. The calculated values of the above geometric errors should be compared with the values limited by the work drawing of the product. The implementation of these recommendations will reduce the labor costs for experimental research and control operations associated with ensuring a given geometric accuracy of products.

Abstract From the analysis of Theo Jansen walking mechanism and of the path curve that it describes the reduced capability for crossing over obstacles of the Jansen leg (1 DOF) is pointed out. By using a 5 link belt mechanism with 2 DOF can be adapted for generating similar Jansen mechanism path curve, where the step height of this path can be increased. For this purpose a mathematical model is conceived in order to analyse and determine the parameters for driving and control of the operation of the novel walking leg solution.

In this paper, taking integrated process and control platform as the background , did the research on mathematical model of boiler liner and parameters on the performance of the control system. First, created a mathematical model of the temperature of the boiler liner. Second, selected the PID controller to control the temperature control system in the case of the PID controller parameters remained unchanged. Finally, changed the boiler parameters, analyzed and compared the simulation waveforms of different boiler parameters in order to get the conclusion that different parameters had different influence on the static stability of the temperature control system and the temperature control system had anti-jamming capability.

To adapt to the requirements of the charging and discharging of the lithium battery, the paper presents a three-level based bidirectional energy storage converter topology.It has strong adaptability and can manage the charge and discharge of multi-series and parallel battery module. The mathematical model of the converter is analyzed, and the two operation modes of the converter control strategy are studied; Analysis the feed-forward decoupling control of three-level rectifier, and the variable scale factor is used to control midpoint potential. The simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the design.
