Recently, structured LDPC codes have been focused on due to excellent performance and lower complexity. An improved construction of QC-LDPC based on a modified PEG algorithm is proposed in this paper. The modified Progressive Edge-Growth algorithm is a PEG algorithm with Approximated Cycle Extrinsic Message Degree (ACE) metric, which is used to describe the connectivity of cycles. The approach can maximize the girth of the cycles, improve the connectivity of cycles and have the advantages of QC algorithms. The simulation results demonstrate that the PEG algorithm based on ACE has lower Bit Error Rate (BER) and Frame Error Rate (FER) than the original PEG algorithm at the low Signal Noise Ratio (SNR) values, and has a relatively lower computational complexity.

Ultra-wideband(UWB) is currently one of three new technologies of wireless communication. Multi-user detection technique is mainly used to eliminate multiple access interference(MAI)in DS-CDMA UWB communication systems. Linear multi-user detection algorithm for multi-access interference suppression or even elimination has certain results. But for a fixed decision threshold is set to 0, the detection performance of linear multi-user detection algorithm will be decreased significantly. Therefore a kind of multi-user detection with pre-processing has been researched. Through the pre-processing, we set dynamic threshold to direct decision the user's data bit information so as to solve the problem the linear multi-user detector’s decision threshold which is fixed impact the detection performance. We may get the global optimal solution though pre-processing of using the thought of the branch and bound algorithm and forcing rules. Then the original problem changes into a smaller multi-user detection problem, in order to get the aim of reducing MAI, increasing the probability of a correct decision and reducing the bit error rate. From the simulation experiment results, it is shown that it has a significant effect in system detection, because after pre-processing the probability of a correct decision has increased, and the bit error rate has been reduced.

In the era of mobile data revolution there is a mass-market of smart phones culminating into an extensive growth in mobile services and applications. However, bandwidth is limited and valuable resource available. In this paper hybrid combination of OFDM-IDMA system is proposed using polar code as forward error correction code and Gold code based interleaver. It presents a method to improvebit error rate with 10 users and normalizedcarrier frequency offsets of 0.1 to 0.5.The simulation is done in the presence of Rayleigh and AWGN channel with 64 QAM modulation technique. A modified successive interference cancellation multi-user detection algorithm is proposed to cater multiple access interference. It is observed that proposed system withnormalized CFO of 0.1 for10 users at required SNR of 15 dB enhances the bit error rate to 1.021*10-4over available existing systems. Hence the capacity of the system and data rate increases by three times to support multimedia application within available bandwidth.

In MIMO-OFDM system, the traditional MRC algorithm is used for signal detection in transmit diversity mode ,this algorithm which assumes the same impulse response between adjacent sub-carriers and doesnt consider the noise ,has a higher bit error rate when signal-to-noise ratio is small ,based on this, this paper introduces a fast and effective single tree research sphere decoding detection algorithm and gives a detailed description of the algorithm ,simulation results show that the algorithm can reduce the bit error rate and improve performance.
