In 2019, with the aim of assessing mortality risks, the formation of the world’s largest cohort of chrysotile asbestos miners and millers was completed at the largest developed chrysotile mine in the world, including a large proportion of working women with extensive data to assess individual exposure and vital status.

In this study, we evaluate whether the increase in the number of intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) has resulted in their increased use for foreign policy behavior by the nations of the world. This question is examined in three related ways: (1) the aggregate use of IGOs for foreign policy behavior; (2) the relationship between IGO membership and IGO use; and (3) the kinds of states that use IGOs. Our data base consists of the 35 nations in the CREON (Comparative Research on the Events of Nations) data set for the years 1959–1968.The main findings are that IGOs were employed over 60 percent of the time with little fluctuation on a year-by-year basis, that global and “high politics” IGOs were used more often than regional and “low politics” IGOs, that institutional membership and IGO use were generally inversely related, and that the attributes of the states had limited utility in accounting for the use of intergovernmental organizations. Some of the theoretical implications of these findings are then explored.

Polarization observables are vital for disentangling overlapping resonances in the baryon spectrum. Extensive data have been collected at Jefferson Lab in Hall B with circularly and linearly polarized tagged photon beam incident on longitudinally polarized protons provided by the Frozen Spin Target (FROST). The focus of the described work is on η photoproduction, which acts as an "isospin filter", isolating the N*(I = 1/2) resonances. Preliminary results for the double-polarization observables E and G are presented. There are currently no data on these in the world database for η photoproduction.

Pandu is a Pitta Pradhana Tridoshaja Vikara affecting the Rasavaha srotas causing Sapta Dhatu Kshaya and Ojokshaya1. The disease is characterized by Panduvamata and Arohana Ayasa. Karnakshweda, Agnimandya, Daurbalya, Annadwesha, Srama, Bhrama, Gathrashoola, Arohanaayasa, Aruchi, Gaurava etc. are the other symptoms commonly found in the patients of Pandu. In the Present era, Anaemia is a burning issue around the world and W.H.O Global data base 2011 reveals that, in a 120 million population, 83% people are suffering from anaemia2.Present study was conducted on 60 diagnosed patients of Panduwho were randomly allocated with 30 each in two groups. Darvyadhi Lehya was given for one group and Drakshadhi Lehya a widely used formulation in clinical practice was given for another group. The study was conducted in 60 subjects for a period of 30 days. Clinical features and haematological parameters were documented before and after the treatment. The results of the study showed that, a statistically significant difference was not seen between the effect of Darvyadi and Drakshadilehya in Pandu roga.

ABSTRACTThis paper presents a number of recent studies in French morphology which make extensive use of data. These data relating to derived words have been automatically collected from digital corpora, mostly from the Web. The main point developed here is that this massive increase in the amount of available data can substantially modify the results of a morphological study, and can lead to new theoretical conclusions that would not have been possible with traditional data such as wordlists gathered from dictionaries. However, using the Web as a corpus brings up several technical and methodological questions, which are dealt with through examples and discussions about the different tools and techniques available. We exemplify our thesis through the study of the suffixal forms: -esque, -este, -able, -ment.
