Getting proper education is the right of every citizen, both normal students and students with special needs (disabilities). In this case, the tools and learning media needed are very important to support teaching and learning activities. However, there are more learning tools and media available for normal students than students with special needs. The results of the observations that the author saw in SLB Rejang Lebong were still lacking in learning tools in special schools, especially learning tools for counting, especially blind children. Thus encouraging the author to be able to create a learning aid, especially in numeracy skills for children with disabilities, especially blind children in SLB Rejang Lebong Bengkulu. Starting from the problem above, the writer tries to deal with this problem by creating learning media, especially for blind children, namely "Braile Baper" which is simultaneously used as a research on the principle of usefulness of the tool in SLB Rejang Lebong which is a tool used. to practice multiplication counting skills in a simple and fast and not boring way so that it is expected to be useful to help improve understanding of blind children in learning media for numeracy skills in mathematics, especially in arithmetic operations material. The results of the application of the Braille Baper learning media that the student activities observed during the learning process were good, seen in the student activity observation sheets as well as interviews with students applying the Braille Baper learning media were responded positively and effectively applied in learning, especially for blind children.

Childhood blindness represents one of the most common disabling and for children. There are approximately 1.4 million blind children worldwide and two-thirds live in the developing countries like Nepal. In Nepal more than 80% of the causes of childhood blindness are preventable. The main causes of blindness are diseases related to cornea, retina, lens optic nerve, refractive errors, amblyopia and hereditary. Most of the cases of unilateral childhood blindness are due to corneal causes. To decrease the burden of blindness, awareness program about various ocular diseases, nutritional blindness, ocular trauma, refractive errors, strabismus and amblyopia should be provided to the community health workers and parents. School screening programs and free eye camps should be conducted and motivate the community for regular eye checkup and follow up. Eye services should reach to rural areas and for poor socio-economic condition. Eye health education should focus on proper nutrition of children and harmful effects of traditional eye medicines. The objective of this study was to investigate the magnitude of childhood blindness in Nepal along with their possible causes. Similarly, this study is aimed to highlight the best possible modalities for the remedy of childhood blindness in the developing countries like Nepal.

This study aims to overcome what is experienced by blind children and to invite blind children to take part in playing and not forgetting to put forward special design aesthetics for blind children. The results found result from primary data collection from observations of the daily activities of the subject and interviews with the subject, teacher, and subject's parents and secondary data got from literacy results from related research sources. The research subjects were taken from students of SDLB-A YPAB SURABAYA. The research method used is design thinking by approaching the subject. In the ultimate result, an innovative traditional snake and ladder game was found which was changed in such a way as to be accessible so that it was more friendly for blind children to use.

This study aims to overcome the bad social-emotional problems of children as well as to invite blind children to participate in playing and not forget to prioritize a special design aesthetic for blind children. The research results found are the results of primary data collection from observations of daily activities of the subject as well as interviews with the subject, teacher, and subject's parents and secondary data obtained from literacy results from related research sources. Research subjects were taken from students of SLB YPAB TEGALSARI SURABAYA. The research method used is to examine primary data and secondary data so that in finding these products it is found from the combined results of the analysis of the behavior patterns of blind children with design analysis, namely material / material, shape, color, and system. In the final result, a traditional game innovation is found that is inspired by a chess board that is often played in schools and modified into a snake and ladder board game for the blind. A B S T R A KThis study aims to develop an Integrated Instrument Component for blind students at special high schools to support learning mixed materials and solutions that are valid, effective and practical. The basic competencies of blind students in ninth grade at SMPLB ask blind students to make observations and experiments on mixed material and solutions. This study uses a research and development (R&D) approach. The approach (R&D) aims to develop and validate the devices used in schools so that they are ready to work effectively and practically. The resulting Mixed Science and Solution learning tools were valid, effective, and practical for blind students of class IX SMPLB. This is obtained based on the results of the tests from expert of media, material, and teacher who have the specialty of teaching blind students. The results of the test were carried out on five blind children and the responses from blind students and three special shcool teachers. From the data obtained, it can be stated that the development of the KIT Practicum is feasible by meeting the valid, effective and practical categories.
